Concerning old-stock Odour - Seller not supportive!
I recently purchased Horbaach's "Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil 2000mg" and have mixed feelings about it. The packaging is visually appealing, and the soft gel capsules, slightly larger than expected but manageable as shown in the uploaded product image. However, upon opening the bottle, I noticed a distinct and concerning smell reminiscent of old stock, though not fishy. Despite the expiry date being 10/2026, the presence of such a smell is puzzling.Purchasing the product just days ago, I find it disconcerting that the image has already been updated on the packaging, raising questions about potential changes in formulation or quality control. Regarding the supplement's efficacy, I am yet to witness noticeable results, but it may be too early for a definitive judgment.My primary concern remains the peculiar smell upon opening the capsule bottle, causing extreme concern. Despite attempting to contact the supplier, they redirected me to Amazon for a return. At this stage, I prefer not taking them and will explore alternatives.
