I don’t know why it took me so long to find out about this well kept secret, but now that I have one and it’s the best thing and sliced bread, I’m telling everyone they should get one! I love pineapple and it makes it so easy to make a long ring slice or make rings or make a little chunks. It’s a whiz and takes half the time and none of the mess.!!! Trust me on this you won’t regret it. It even leaves a nice little shell of the pineapple husk so you can put a salad in it and use it for decoration.

I like fresh fruit for breakfast and at least where I live, pineapple is a low-cost option. I think that is mostly because people don't know how to go from large fruit with impressive foliage to serving. The corer works quite well for this purpose. I used to spend 10 or 15 minutes slicing and trimming the fruit to get at the sweet delicious parts. With the corer, the entire process takes less than 2 minutes. The first time out, I tried the slicer with near-disastrous results: pineapple slices everywhere. Having learned that lesson, I now just take a sharp knife and cut the cylinder of cored fruit into quarters. Much easier, with lots less mess. I have also found that going all the way to the bottom of the fruit results in the least waste. If the core is just cut, you're there.

I love kitchen tools! im a gadget freak! This pibeapple slicer is so amazing! its a hit if a truck to cut iff the cirrect amount if top to get slices to come iut right but just a little practice and it easy to master. I git this device primarily because I hate cutting iut thise like eyes left on the slices by cutting it with a knife. This truly works!! It cuts through pretty quick and theres no rind pieces left on the slices. You will want to use a cutting board when slicing as it does cause the juice to flow out. it is a nice sturdy piece. It can take me leaning in a bit as I crank it through the pineapple. i haven’t tried using it with other fruit yet but I’m sure it could be used in many other applications and will be versatile.This company shipped it very quickly as well!

I've recently started utilizing a lot of pineapple in my cooking and got tired of cutting it. This cutter takes the grunt work out of the process! While I can agree it still leaves some fruit left on the inside sides of the shell, it still makes it so easier to cut the pineapple and slice it! I would recommend putting the pineapple in a bowl to slice/dice it since its a very juicy fruit.

I have been using this for over a year now and it's the best kitchen tool I've ever bought. This thing cores a pineapple in just a few minutes. Chop off the top & bottom, line up the tool with the core, twist and in just a few minutes you have beautiful rings of pineapple. I push the core out carefully with a chop stick and all done. No waste. And you just take the handle off and throw the tool in the dishwasher to clean it. Easy.

Does a good job but hard to pull the pineapple out of the shell because I think it creates a vacuum when you try to pull it out but any brand of these built will have the same problem.It is built well with extra welds on the bottom cutter where it connects to the core tube.I did what the guy in the video did and that was to put the section cutter over the shaft before installing the t handle. After you pull the pineapple out of the shell all you have to do is push the slicer down the tube cutting it all into small sections and your done instead of removing the pineapple from the shell, taking the assembly off the pineapple. Then you would have to try and line up the section cutter on top and hold it steady while you push the section cutter down through the pineapple. The process in the video is much faster and simpler. We really like this product.
