Disappointed it wasn't spiral bound. Text and charts are a tad too small. New stitches are okay, but not really interesting to me. Great resource, both in the round and flat Knitting. Easy to understand, simple to use.

Love this book! The patterns are numerous and all so good, the pictures helpful, and the instructions are clear and easy to follow.

A book for knitters - beginners and experienced. Wide variety of stitches that everyone will find catches their interest. I have another of the author' s books and I love it.

I used a pattern to make a holiday gift and it was well written. Chart was also easy to follow.

I have purchased many knitting dictionary over the decades. Some were donated when newer ones came to market. I regret buying some in an electronic version for my Kindle app on my iPad, as it is a time eater finding specific knitting stitch patterns. I prefer the ability to add Post-it tabs to pages and to notate. The prior book by a different author I purchased in print had only graphs. I detest graphs and prefer written directions. This book contains graphs, written descriptions for both knitting flat and round, along with photos. Thank you for an excellent book.

A great addition to my reference library.

I found this book in the library and wanted to have my own copy. It showed each stitch flat, bottom up , top down and round. I used to get the pattern and tried to figure out how to knit round or top down. This book is great help.

I have both of her books. They are by far a favorite, especially if you do a lot of knitting in the round. This a wonderful book, especially if you make your patterns using stitch patterns
