Glassine When I Need It
Online shopping with affordable shipping is important. Finding the right size for glassine envelopes and plastic photo sleeves means "shopping online" for me in small town America. Right now I am sorting through a 40 year old collection of 1970's and earlier international scouting stamps; putting them in new larger envelopes to protect them.

Not normal glassine envelopes
I have collected stamps for 50+ years. Glassine Envelopes are common and have not changed much over the years.These are NOT common glassine envelopes. That is a bad thing.The material does not feel the same.Glassine envelopes are fairly transparent. You can easily see what is inside the envelope. These envelopes are almost opaque. You cannot see inside very well.These seem to be a different material than normal glassine envelopes.
