I made the same mistake when I purchased. It is a cotton cork print. Very nice fabric but not the cork fabric made out of real cork.

No. It’s not cork per se, it’s fabric made to look like cork

I guess the name comes from the way it looks like cork. This is not cork fabric, this is a 100% cotton fabric, that has a cork look
