If your gym has banned powder chalk this could be an alternative
My gym recently has banned the use of gym chalk because of how messy it made the place. Herculesgrip works like the real thing without leaving a mess behind. My gym accepts the use of liquid chalk so I will be using this product for a while. It was easy to use! I applied a small penny like size amount on my palm and spread it evenly on both hands. After 10 seconds of air drying (wave your hands around) I was good to go. I was able to perform my powerlifting workout routines without any problems the grip is just like the one from conventional chalk. Works great if you can actually get it out of the tube.
This is a great alternate to the powdered chalk. The only reason I took one star away is because the tube tends to clog a lot. It also separates a bit so it can get kind of messy if you have a clog then a bunch of liquid sprays out when you go to clear it. Overall though I recommend this. It stays on better and gives me better grip than the powder chalk.*EDIT*After using this chalk a bit longer. It is very frustrating because it constantly gets clogged and it is very hard to unclog it. I have a ton of it left but can hardly use it because I can only get out a tiny bit at a time. In the middle of a workout the last thing I want to do is waste time on trying to get more out of this tube that is practically full.

Great if you want lots of chalk and don't mind leaving a mess
This is actually a very good product if you just want something that's convenient to bring, works effectively, and you don't mind making a mess. It applies a very generous amount of chalk to your hands, which is great for lifting, but it does make a mess. One of the managers at my gym warned me not to use it again. This is not a stealth product. There are other products out there that are better for that because they won't make a mess.

Downgraded to One Star
Used for shooting matches, works well.UPDATE: The liquid doesn't mix well, or stay mixed with the chalk so that every time I used it I was getting a burst of liquid and then the chalk, even with mixing by kneading the tube. This lasted 3 or 4 matches and now apparently all the liquid medium is gone and the tube contains dry chalk which I cannot get out to use.

It gets the job done, but it's smelly/messy
Smells funny, doesn't apply as well as other liquid chalks, and the texture it comes out as is inconsistent (sometimes it's like water, others it's like if you mixed cornstarch with water.) It does the job most of the time, but it's definitely not as clean, in-use, as some others I've used.

Not bad
I chose to give this product a try because I can’t use gym chalk at my gym it has been banned because they can’t handle the mess such wimps. I’m not highly satisfied with this product because I feel like it doesn’t fully do the job for me. Powder chalk sticks more to my hands and to the surface of the workout equipment giving me a strongman hold. For now, I must use liquid chalk and although it doesn’t stick as strongly as I want it to it is somewhat getting the job done so I recommend it as a substitute for powder chalk.

Constantly Clogged
I can't say I'd recommend this liquid chalk as I've used far superior products before. The hole the chalk comes out of was always clogged, even after I unclogged that whole the main whole would be clogged. I only got to use this product 3 times because of that issue. The final straw; all of the chalk was hard in the package and I was forced to throw the product away.

Perfect if you want to replace the gloves!
I use gloves to work-out because my hands get really sweaty and slippery but gloves made my hands feel really hot and I would constantly have had to take them off to let my hands breath. I gave this liquid chalk product a try and I’m not disappointed I thought I was going to sweat the solution off within the first 10 minutes of my workout but it lasted me about an hour. I think I got a better grip on my hands using this product than using gloves. It came in handy when I was doing pull-ups I got a good grip on the bar I could finish my set without having to adjust my hands. I personally think this product was not bad if you are looking to replace the gym gloves and have some support on your bare hands this is the product for you.
