I think they are huge for my legs and it looks a little funny wearing them. It might not feel very comfortable at first, especially when you are standing. However, it feels perfect when you bend your knees (and that is what it was for, right?). The material is excellent! Very durable! And it makes me feel safer than other pads I've had. They also stick very firmly to my legs thanks to their extra belts.Now I see why Tony Hawk wears these!

I measured 14" around the knee. I'm 5'8" 158lbs and got the mediums. They didn't fit well. Flaps felt like they needed more overlap and they felt a little restrictive. Swapped them for larges and they fit much better. And there is room to wear them over pants in the winter.

Fall and get back up

The only "pro" pads I've ever used, but they are vastly superior to any brand of cheaper 30-40$ pads. Extremely Durable. Really good padding and protection. Slides great. More comfortable to put on because you don't have to slide them up your leg. If you are shredding a lot and going through a pair of 30$ pads a month, get these pads. They have lasted me months so far and still look and feel pristine. These bad boys usually go on sale sometime so if you can get them for 60-80$ do it.

The protection these pads offer at the skate park is incredible, these have saved me several times and allow me to slide out unharmed without having to run out of a bail, however compared to the Rectors of days gone by, they pinch quite a bit making me less likely to wear them

Best investment I’ve ever made. I’ve fallen more times than I can count and before I had these I’d have to take a week off from skating. Now I fall and still skate everyday. Really helps with the fear of progression too.

Son mucho mas grandes que otras marcas, puede que no sean tan comodas. Pero en cuanto a seguridad son las mejores. Te puedes caer sin miedo y tus rodillas estarán a salvo

I waited a bit to review these but I can say they are well worth the money. I was wearing protech knee pads before this and bailed on a mini ramp directly on my left knee. The result was like I wasn't even wearing a knee pad. The protechs didn't help and were pinching my leg. These 187 killer pads have been great after my last bail resulted in a month off my board with a small fracture and some liggy damage I began wearing these. The wrap in the back of the pad fits tight but does not pinch or rub like the protech ones. Protection is amazing. I have fallen on my knees while wearing these and even while I was worried since my injury/recovery there was no damage to my healing knee. Look I'm a 40 year old skater with a bad knee and can't take another bail with inferior pads on. With these in I don't have to worry about that and can just skate. Do recommend highly.

Algo que no es tan perceptible es que estas rodilleras tienen mucha más protección en la estructura interna de la rodillera. No solo la placa de plástico es más grande sino que tiene un armazón interior que permite amortiguar mucho más el impacto. En la foto se ven las 187 tamaño XL comparando con rodilleras amateur tamaño L y las hace parecer coderas.Debido a su tamaño sí me da la impresión de que el enfoque de uso es casi exclusivamente para skateparks/rampas porque la mayor comodidad se experimentará con las piernas ligeramente flexionadas (patineta, skate agresivo) y tal vez no se sentirá tan cómodo para patinaje recreativo de largas distancias.Una parte que sí es super disfrutable es que el tipo de broche de mariposa permite ponerse o quitarse las rodilleras sin necesidad de quitarse tenis/patines, y el uso de velcro nivel industrial hace que sea super firme el agarre.
