24 Pockets - SimpleHouseware Crystal Clear Over The Door Hanging Shoe Organizer, Turquoise (64'' x 19'')

Q: I wear size 12 mens. will they fit? it doesn't look like it works for anything other than a low top shoe. is this correct?

I tried a size 13 men's boat shoe. It fit, but only about a third of the way. I honestly don't think a regular sneaker or dress shoe would stay in.

Q: Are the pockets sewn on, or fused together?

The pockets are sewn. Thread goes through a narrow binding tape on all sides. I think its pretty secure for my shoes. The systems holds all my dress shoes, heavy sandals, Converse type sneakers, Dansko Mary Janes and wing tips. It does NOT hold my New Balance running & tennis shoes. They are too big.

Q: How thick of a door will the hooks go over? I have vintage doors that are just over 1 3/4" thick.

I have 2 inch wood doors and the hooks weee far to small. I nailed mine into the door . I would say the width would be no more than 1/34 inches at the most

Q: What is the pocket size (measurement please) including max depth. Would a Beanie Boo stuffed animal fit in these pockets?

The actual pocket size from sewn edge to sewn edge is 4 1/2 inches by 7 1/2 inches. The plastic pouch is pleated over on either sewn edge which gives a little more space for shoes as they protrude forward. I was trying to use these as a creative way to display books in my classroom but most are about 5 inches wide, so they do not fit perfectly in the pouches. While this item won;t work for me because of this, I can say that for the price the quality and construction of this item is great.
