I have these on my bike and love them, so when I took a small ride in my wife’s bike I was not a fan of her grips at all. My forearms and hands were burning from the vibrations of her bike. She didn’t know what she was missing until I bought these and installed them on her bike. Now we’re both big fans. Installation was easy and self explanatory. I think the only tough part was getting the throttle side placed exactly where she wanted it, but that’s a personal preference issue not a grip issue. These are a perfect fit for both my Honda Shadow Spirit and her Yamaha V-Star.

Will not stick. Do not buy. The black runner will come apart and come out. Product will not stick and keeps throttle open.

I installed the throttle side first. Got it all the way together twisted the throttle once to test and make sure everything worked properly, and the glue the manufacturer uses immediately failed and the grip began to spin on the throttle tube. The rubber itself is extremely soft and has no chemical resilience attempted to re glue and the rubber began to peal apart. These grips are cheap and they are not a true 1 inch fit they’re a little over sized.

Throttle grip installed fine, at first, but then shifted downward from handle bar while driving. There is a plastic tube inside the grip and the grip separated from the plastic tube. Could have been a disaster if it came loose during riding. There was remnants of factory glue on the plastic tube, but barely enough to keep the grip in place. I ended up applying gorilla glue to the entire plastic shaft on the throttle side and then slid the grip back on. The left grip did not fit tight and requires lots of gorilla glue too. Now I think they’re safe to ride with. Hopefully I will never going to remove them. That will be a project in its self.

Functional

I had the same problems as everyone else. Within minutes the throttle grip separated from the sleeve. And I had to use electrical tape on the left handlebar to get the grip there tight enough to not just slide back off from gravity alone. I understand the size issue. Metric bikes are often 24mm not really 1", Harley bars are often almost 26mm (a full 1"). So these are designed to fit both, they just fit metric 24mm bars loosely. I don't fault them for that. But the glue on the throttle side is ridicules and needs fixed ASAP. Also one of the four end cap screws threads stripped with even light pressure. It could be a safety issue in heavy traffic on the freeway! But I still give it three stars. I really want to love these, but they need to address some quality issues. I had read the reviews and bought a bottle of Gorilla Glue the day I ordered them, planning to have to address the throttle and fitment issues. I also allowed for a day for the glue to dry. Do not expect to get these grips and be able to ride right after. Plan to be down 24 hours. If you take that all into account, and are super careful with the end cap screws, these are nice grips.

The accessories absolutely POP on my bike. The fit was excellent and really look nice. Price and delivery time was really good.

So I see reviews saying that was not enough adhesive on throttle side and it came loose. Well mine did as well but as you know the left hand has to be glued. The fact the we now have to glue the throttle side is a plus. Now you adjust it to your comfort. If it was hard set that would have been aweful for me. I’m glad it was not hard glued now I have it where I want it.

Put grips on motorcycle and they looked great ,turned throttle grip only to have outer part of grip come off plastic sleeve, bad glue job at source. I had to re-glue or wait weeks to replace.

Lo use para una Honda shadow VT750 2008, buen producto aunque se siente un poco frágil, pero bueno

I ordered these late June. There was a problem with the shipper at which time the grips were sent back to the seller. The seller immediately resent them out to me. They also had great communication with me. The grips fit and look awesome. I will definitely buy from these guys again.
