UPDATE JAN 6th 2021After a streamlined process I was able to return my faulty unit and received the new projector within less than a week! Everything works as expected, I'm very satisfied with the purchase and experience.Great work Amazon!----------Great image, great colors, amazing sound and picture quality for its size.One little BIG issue. I purchased the M1 Mini Plus version that offers screen mirroring and Bluetooth connectivity features and none of them seem to work.Well, I'm frustrated that after 4 days of struggle searching online materials and tech support from ViewSonic nothing comes up as a potential solution for this issue.Additionally, I've tried to manually upload to the newest version of device's firmware from Viewsonic's website using an USB device however link seems to be broken or file might not be available.Please help

This is one of the best sub $200 projectors I've used (keep in mind sub $200 projectors are not very good.) The auto-keystone works very well. The resolution is adequate for watching a movie, powerpoint, or a game where fine details aren't critical. I'd buy the WiFi model or the M1+ if I could do it again.--Early on I had one of the "boot loops" others reported. Problem was the battery was too low, and the first charger I used wasn't "just right." Changing charger, using provided USB cable, and letting charge ~3 hours fixed it. It was hard to identify the battery was dead because the status icon appears full if it's plugged in (even if not actually charging). Because, the battery does slowly drain while plugged in.Brightness is decent, the first picture is during daytime with the light turned off but some light coming through the window. The projected image is about 6' diagonal. Due to the low native resolution and severe Chroma Subsampling text and details on a computer are almost unreadable.It is very small and lightweight, super convenient to throw in a backpack to throw up a presentation or watch a movie in an austere environment. The lens-cover-height adjust sags a bit so it's hard to get a perfectly square image without stacking stuff under it. Annoying, not a deal breaker. Speakers are ok.Once I got it charging properly I've had not problem with the battery life, but I wouldn't depend on it unplugged for more than an hour.1/5 for consumer projectors overall, 4/5 for budget portable ones. The flimsy height adjust and charging problems are within ViewSonic's power to fix.

This is a very good value for the price!1, The built in Operating system and software with apps are MUCH better than other projectors have. SIMPLE, FAST, Easy to configure or add more apps.2, JBL sound system is very clear and reasonably loud.3,Connectivity is fantasting. Bluetooth connection is fast and has no delay with external BT speakers. Phone screen mirroring is easy. Both Android and IOS connects well compatible with many apps. Can use HDMI or USB connections too4, Charging / Battery, battery lasts a full movie on full charge but can plug in to charger while you watch a movie5, Screen quality. This is very good considering this is a 480p screen, with manual focus (but at least it works flawlessly). Auto screen adjustment is incredibly good. Screen brightness is ok, not the most bright but for the size and price of this it is great. In dark rooms ir works well.6, Portability: Excellent! Fits in my pocket, lightweight, no need for tripod with the built in stance.7, Remote is easy to use, however it has an IR sensor (this is fine, again for the price) so you have to point to the unit direction.Suggestions: Make the same with 720p and brighter LED screen in the same size and weight and I will multiple!

Edit: The projector still worked with an HDMI cord and applications. Now these are things I noticed after around 5-10 hours of use:I got this projector hoping itll work wirelessly with my iphone 11 and ipad. When I got it, I noticed that the picture quality was great, brightness was also very nice even though the lights were not completely off, and the remote control worked fine. Problems arose when I tried screensharing my iphone/ipad with the projector. It did not work at all, even though I followed all the instructions.And sometimes it went back to the home screen mid-streaming a prime video or a youtube video.I ended up returning the product in hopes for finding a better one in the future.Cons:- screen mirroring does not work whatsoever with my and my friend’s iphones (iphone X and iphone 11)- the remote does not seem to work very well with amazon prime videos. Im not sure if its the app, but while watching episodes, the application crashes and brings it to the home page.- the brightness is not as bright as I hoped for, but it is decent- the battery dies very quicklyPros:- is very small and does not make much noise- size of projection is okay, and they are fairly clear (can read small subtitles etc)- good sound quality, I used bluetooth speakers, though, because its a little odd having sound come from one small spot when watching movies.I am giving this a one star because the main reason why I bought this was to screen mirror from my phone without needing a HDMI cable.

I had to return this item to Amazon Warehouse because it had no remote control. Since the device has only an on/off button it was worthless. Please check your return items closely before you send them out again for resale.

En general estoy satsifecho.

Ele é tão leve e portátil que é impossível mantê-lo estável durante o uso. Como não tem bluetooth necessita estar ligado por cabos a fonte da imagem e o simples peso do cabo já é suficiente pra tirar ele da posição. Além disso não espelha a tela de celulares e tablets.De modo que achei bonito porém não foi útil pra mim.

Originalmente yo quería el modelo M1 mini, pensando principalmente en la portabilidad, pero después al ver que la diferencia de precio no era mucho respecto al modelo M1 mini plus, me incliné por este último, pensando en las ventajas que ofrecería el tener conexión bluetooth y wifi.Creo que la calidad de la imagen es bastante buena tomando en cuenta el tamaño del proyector. Obvio no tiene la misma calidad que se puede tener en una pantalla 4K, pero considero que cumple el objetivo. Mientras más oscuro esté el cuarto donde se proyecte, se apreciara mejor la imagen. Y también ofrece un gran tamaño de proyección a distancias no tan alejadas de la pared.Respecto a la conectividad bluetooth y wifi, es una gran ventaja para poder conectar un dispositivo externo, como una bocina. Aun así, la bocina interna del proyector tiene una calidad bastante buena. Incluso muchas veces prefiero usar la bocina interna.Otra ventaja de la conectividad wifi es poder hacer streaming de aplicaciones como Netflix y Prime sin tener que hacerlo desde una computadora conectada al proyector.Respecto a esto último, debo decir que el catálogo de aplicaciones es muy limitado, y aplicaciones como Netflix o Prime, más bien parecen ser un browser en modo de pantalla completa, que abre dichas páginas. Por lo tanto, la navegación en las mismas, es muy complicada por medio del control remoto. Una forma de darle la vuelta, es instalar la app de vCastSender para sincronizar el proyector con nuestro smartphone, y así poder navegar por los menús desde el celular. Así es más fácil utilizar esas aplicaciones.Un punto negativo es que el proyector dice soportar screen mirroring con iPhone y android, sin embargo, nunca me ha funcionado dicha función (solo lo he intentado con iPhone).Respecto a la batería, se supone que dura cerca de 2 horas, aunque siento que a mi me dura menos, sin embargo está bien para proyectar algo de corta duración. Si lo que se quiere es proyectar una película de larga duración, o un maratón de alguna serie, etc, definitivamente es necesario tener el proyector conectado a la corriente eléctrica.En general, es un proyector que cumple bastante bien el principal propósito para el cual lo quería. Me encanta que sea muy compacto, y su diseño es bastante bueno a mi gusto.
