Furinno: consistently excellent furniture!
Having positive memory of making a previous purchase of a Furrino furniture product, I just bought three different models of these easy-assembly kits, including this 4-tier corner, open shelf bookcase, in French Oak.This, as well as the other two kits, arrived in excellent condition and assembled into very attractive furniture for the price. This color is actually griege (grey+beige) and I find this mostly grey-ish, rustic wood finish to be really attractive in my shabby-chic, oriental-ish decor. For less- expensive veneer finish, I can't tell it's not a natural finish unless I study it closely - although it does look too-good-to-be-true. The texture even feels authentic. (I have made my own furniture and done finish carpentry at an amateur level.)I don't have much interest in buying expensive furniture, so products by this brand consistently satisfy me - because to me, they do look like quality furniture. To be sure, I would not put these in an abusive, high impact, environment without expecting some damage to the veneer finish - but I think this color, particularly, would be amenable to gray- wash touch-up.I put this corner shelf at the end of a longer shelf, to match another smaller Furinno bookcase-table across the room.I received no compensation for this review, other than the satisfaction over sharing my experience with a good product with others - motivated by believing a company that consistently makes great products should be recognized.

Great Bookcase for Small Spaces
I was looking for a storage unit to use behind my crafting desk as a kind of "credenza" to store additional crafting tools I like to have handy. The challenge was how low the windowsill under the large window sits. But set up horizontally instead of vertically, this bookcase did the trick! The 4 "shelves" create 4 "cubbies" I was able to fit some existing wicker baskets in, and still have the whole top surface for additional storage bins - exactly what I was looking for in that small/low space under the window. And the black color coordinates great with all the other furniture pieces I have in that room. I can't speak to the longevity yet, but I'm sure with proper use it will hold up well over time. One word of caution, as others have pointed out: Be VERY CAREFUL when nailing the back panel onto the frame - the fiberboard frame will split/flake apart VERY easily if you have to pull them back out for a second try. I did lose a few small "chunks" by miscalculating placement, but since it was on the back side facing the wall, I was able to hide my mistakes. Overall, very happy with my purchase - it is the exact size I needed, sturdy enough for my purposes, fairly easy to put together, a terrific value, and super quick delivery. Hope this helps anyone on the fence. :)

Small, but works
These are small and would make sure a very cute childrens library, but the material is so thin that I would advise affixing these to the wall if you do have small children and are keeping anything heavy on the bookshelves, because they basically weight nothing and can easily be pulled over. Other than that major thing, they look great. The soft pastel colors are beautiful and they hold a decent amount. I personally use them to store art and hobby supplies, and I may get more in the future should my collection grow. After having them for a while, there's nothing that I have seen that would stop me from ordering more.

Decent for beginner collections / kids
This Bookshelf was good for the price. The wood was cheap so I would not recommend moving it around a lot however, it is very sturdy. I would also like to mention that it does fit well in tight spaces and can be great for apartments/ dorms. Assembly did require an electric drill and two people so keep mindful of that. I would recommend it for a kids room or a starter collection but if you are looking for something more permanent I might put in a prettier penny.7/10

Great Bookcase but They've raised the price by 50% in a week
I actually love this bookcase. It cute, easy set up hold my daughters books. It has cheap little stickers to cover the screws which helps some and The screws were loose in the box which was weird but no big deal. Went to buy a second one and the regular $20 price increased to $23 in 2 days, then to $30 in under a week. Simply no reason for Amazon to increase the price that much in the span of a week. Still worth the $30 but it's sort of the principle of it.

2 is better than one
I’ll start by saying I’m not sure if the instructions call for one or two people lol but I successfully built this in an hour by myself. It was fairly easy just follow the simple instructions. The product states it’s clearly not for heavy items so definitely do try it. It will say this did end up be a little wobbly in the end but still sturdy. Think about but another for my space in play room. Looks like description

Don’t Follow the Instructions!
This is smaller than I expected, but will work fine for my grandson’s toys. An important note - the instructions say to put the backing in place last. DO NOT DO THIS! There is a groove for the backboard and if you screw the sides on, you will not be able to put the back on. I learned that the hard way and just went backless because I knew it wouldn’t be sturdy if I unscrewed it and screwed it back together.

Nice sturdy piece
Came well packaged, no damage. My only issue was removing the little lettered stickers—they take off the finish underneath super easily, and left marks (see pix)—but I was able to sort of hide those spots by using those pieces for the bottom shelves or by flipping a long end so that it’s at the bottom and not as noticeable. You might choose to leave the stickers on, but I can’t stand that.Other than that, it’s quite sturdy, I was pleasantly surprised! Very easy to assemble, done in maybe 10mins. The white stickers that come with it to cover up the screws don’t really work since the screws don’t lie flush with the wood, but I don’t mind the look of the screws exposed, so I just left them alone. I also chose to leave the back paneling off, so…you have options!

Not very good product
Forget the Marketing, you will need to gather your tools. Cheap plastic screws cannot penetrate wood. The holes were not properly punched so you will have to do it yourself. They say it will take 10 min to assemble: Not the case. By the time you figure out, it is the product that is the problem, you probably will have wasted a lot of time and acquired a few blisters. The Furniture looks good, but does not feel very sturdy or stable, with all the cheap plastic holding the shelves together.

Very cheaply made
Cheaply made. the little number stickers to aid in assembly peeled off the paper veneer, its not even vinyl.

Kinda Cheaply Made For Price
I bought 2 of these to be installed into an unused wall space at my front door foyer. Am just using for hats. Anything heavy would likely bust up the back board as it’s very, very pressboard. Overall I like them but should be priced a little cheaper.
