Attempted to use these to mount wheels with tight clearance in lug holes. Do not purchase these, get external spline lugnuts instead

Just put them on today, and they went on pretty nicely. All of the nuts came individually wrapped in little bags. No scratches on any of them. During installation, they went on pretty cleanly. The tool performed well. I think some of the problems people have had with the tool becoming worn out, or the nuts getting worn out, come from over torquing. Make sure you torque them to spec, which is around 70-80 ft-lbs for 12 x 1.5 threads. That's really easy to go over, if you don't have a torque wrench. Invest in one. Keep the tool half way clean and wiped off while installing, and it wont get scratched up. The upper part of my tool did, just because I was using a 12 point socket that wasn't the right size in the beginning, but the part that slots into the lug nuts stayed pretty clean. It hasn't scratched through the paint on it. Super small outer diameter of the lug nuts, which is really nice.
