Acceptable carb; but not a drop-in replacement on a 1980 NC-50
Update 8/27/22: O-ring was split when I took the carb off. Also the listed jet sizes are wrong, it comes with a 42 and a 66 main jet.Doesn't leak out of the box, clean inside, didn't have metal shaving inside like some chinese carbs. Once installed, it starts and runs okay with the supplied jet at ~500ft elevation. Starts 4-stroking at 22mph.HOWEVER, it is not a 1-1 copy of the oem PA-08E carb on a 1980 Express. There are five noteworthy issues with this carb as a stock replacement.1. Obviously, the choke cable will not work as this is a lever-choke carb.2. The stock throttle cable is not long enough for the knarp to reach the slide due to the 90 degree elbow cable guide on the slide cap. To remedy this, you will have to remove the elbow and put a tiny washer or nut inside the top of the slide cap to secure the cable housing.3. The bowl of the carburetor interferes with the rear fender bracket, so you must make a 1/4 inch spacer to go between the intake flange and the carb if you wish to retain the rear fender.4. No oil injection port5. The threads in the mounting holes are not the same as stock. I drilled them out to 1/4 inch and used nuts to secure the carb to the intake.

Terrible fitment
Is not a good replacement for the oem Honda express carb. If you’re up for tinkering to make it work properly then it’s the carb for you. But if you want a plug and play you’re better off getting a different carb
