Does this body srub have small or big grains ?

The Liquid Dead Sea Salt does not have grains in the product.

can I use it on my face or is it to harsh ?

I have used it on my face before but only on my cheeks. I use it in the shower, so sometimes after I use it on my body - I put the remaining amount thats in my hands on my cheeks. It is alittle harsh - so I definitely would NOT use it anywhere around your eyes, or if you have sensitive skin.

Is the consistency of this similar to a sugar scrub (can I rub it into my skin for exfoliation)?

You rub this on your body and leave it on for 2 minutes before showering Not sure how much exfoliating it does but it sure leaves your skin feeling good. Have never used sugar scrub.
