The Univen PR100 had a tight & secure fit where the prongs from the griddle inserted into the Univen PR100. The temperature probe on the Univen PR100 was 2mm smaller in diameter than the hole in the Presto grill, but still did a great job of regulating the temperature! The Univen PR100 provided the perfect solution to keeping my childhood grill functional. I can't wait to show my brother!

I have an electric frying pan that I love. Never found a better one in all my searches. It is over 30 years old and the company that made it is long out of business. After so many years the probe stopped working. I was horrified to think I could not replace it. This universal probe temperature control was a perfect fit and solved my problem. I’m delighted!

I recently misplaced the cord to my Cuisinart CSK-150 Electric Skillet. A replacement cord from Cuisinart would have cost about $27 and taken more then a week to get to me. This cord was almost half the price and arrived in two days. Although the probe was a bit of a tight fit in the skillet, it did fit. The cord is extremely short like the original, necessitating the use of a extension cord. I've only used it once since it was delivered. It worked fine and seemed to keep the desired temperature in the appliance without the probe getting too hot. I don't know what the long term durability of this cord will be, but so far, so good.

Only saying "I love it" instead of "I like it" to bolster my review's consistency! Otherwise what I like is the fact that it is a PRESTO name brand instead of a no-name controller that seems NOT to be a factory second. It certainly fits my 1-3/8" width electric prong stainless steel VOLLRATH Model 24- 1200 watt fry pan and by far outperforms the sunbeam controller that I was using.Two things I really like is the fact that the settings are not on a paper or aluminum disk label glued to the knob that can be obscured by splatters and then destroyed by cleaning but are printed in the plastic of the knob which has a rounded edge to keep splatters from obscuring the printing and the precise accuracy that allows me to make perfect grilled cheese sandwiches and hot cakes.The only thing I do not like is that this new controller will make me use the fry pan more often causing me to eat a lot more which will cause me to get even fatter.

I bought this to replace original power cord on my Broil King griddle which is considered to be a very nice griddle however due to heavy use the original cord stopped working. This griddle required a slightly different width between pins, and this power cord fit perfectly. I purchased one in 2015 and used it heavily for about 2 years when it also stopped working, likely due to heavy use. Since it was reliable, I just bought another one, and hope it too will last a while, so I don't have to buy a new griddle.
