This is a beautiful looking rod but no performance
I purchased 2 rods from Moonshine. This one and the euronymph rod. Both are beautiful and look amazing. However the performance is subpar. The fly lines simple don’t slide through the eyelets. They have huge friction so it’s not possible to do smooth mends without pulling your flies out of drift. This is not acceptable. Please don’t make the mistake I made. The marketing behind these is awesome and based on the reviews and marketing I bought in. Once you try it you know this is not a good design. Pity because the looks of the rod are beautiful. But save yourself the regret of spending a lot of money for a subpar experience.
