Not sure if mine was from a different dye lot but there was barely any dark shading at all. Although the color is very nice and I do like it anyway. I have darker skin so I tend to go for the darker roots. So I would suggest this wig as more of a "first day out of the salon" look with an ash blonde at the scalp to lighter blonde at the tips type of ombre if you would call it that (I would not) and it did look good with my skin tone.As for the shine, this wig did not seem to have any less or more shine than others. It just takes some spray wig conditioner to take down the shine which is also good maintenance so it's no big deal for the product rating overall.The lace cap is very well made and comfortable however I expected more hair at the nape where it tends to knot the most. So, I wonder how long this one will wear before it thins out.I matched mine in the photo perfectly with Revlon clip in bangs.

This wig is garbage. It came and looked absolutely nothing like the photo. The top half was brown and the bottom half was blonde. There was no subtle fade or anything. It was horrible looking and nothing close to what was described or pictured. Do not waste your time with this.

This wig is fantastic if you plan to wear it as is. It will look great straight out of the package However, if you plan on doing much more than straightening or curling, this is not the wig for you. I bought this for cosplay and intended to put it in pigtails, but the back was so thin that I had giant holes everywhere and had to resort to some unorthodox techniques to make it work. Even then, it was quite stringy and had tons of hairs falling out just from brushing. Again, great plain wig, terrible styling wig.

For the price, it's a pretty good costume wig. Lays nice, fits large head size, and a nice color.

Very nice wig, super comfortable, lightweight and looks completely natural. The color looks as the photo, just fits well in my head. And middle part makes my face thinner. I really love the wig. Very happy with this purchase and will be purchasing more wigs from SiYi. Definitely recommend!
