Bissell® Featherweight™ PowerBrush Vacuum, 2773A

I needed something to replace my regular broom. With two cats, there's a lot of hair and dust. Sweeping just creates chaos of dust and hair flying around. I have a two bedroom townhouse with mainly tiles and hardwood floors. I do have a larger and stronger vacuum, but it's such a pain to lug it up and down the stairs. So I have mainly kept the larger one for the bedrooms, where there's plush carpet. Delivery of this vacuum was a bit delayed, but I have to say the strength of the vacuum is well worth it. The frame is quite flimsy, but it definitely helps reduce the overall weight. I have been vacuuming daily on the living floor and the stairs into my loft/office area to remove any dirt and dust before I would steam mop the floors. This sure does works great. Only con is that it is cord, but after reading different reviews on cordless and cord, I rather stick with the cord. Most other cordless tends to stop holding their charge after a short period. I have multiple handheld cordless vacuum, and it does the trick, but you definitely notice a difference with the cord to the cordless. So overall I'm happy with this purchase, as it was intended to replace a broom. For the price, I don't think it's too bad. It is small enough to put into the closet with the regular broom. I would not recommend this for carpets. It is a little loud if you have a baby, but again all vacuums are.

This vacuum is great for the price! As a broke college student this was perfect for me. It is not perfect and might take an extra min to get the job done but it does great. The brush roller does a pretty great job picking up hair and dirt from carpets and hard wood. It is very small and lightweight so it’s easy to store and move around. The cord is nice and long for easy use as well!

I have had this vacuum for a short time. Here are my observations: Good: --The vacuum is so light! Super easy to handle, put away, etc. --It stands up by itself. Look carefully at other stick vacuums. Many don't. --The suction is perfect for me. It picks up dirt easily on hard floors and gets surface debris off of rugs. --The suction is not so strong that it picks up throw rugs. Much easier to vacuum bathroom mats, etc. this way. --It's quieter than I expected. Of course, it does make noise, but it isn't offensive. --Very easy to empty dust cup. Negatives: --The cord is very short. This is probably a trade-off they made to keep the overall unit so small and light. Expect to move to different electrical outlets when vacuuming all but the smallest rooms. --The dust cup fills up fairly quickly. --This doesn't replace a full size vacuum for deeper cleaning, especially of rugs. Overall: --I view this as a daily vacuum for getting all the small dirt that accumulates every day or two. Sort of a replacement for a broom that also works on carpets. It is great for this. --Purchase a set of replacement filters (multi-packs are available on Amazon for $15-$20). Each time after you vacuum, empty the cup and rinse out your filter. Put in the replacement filter so that the original has time to dry overnight. Rotate the filters that way.

My hubby got a huge one 2 yrs. Ago that makes lots of noise, picks and skips here and there bulky and has issues rolling out, this little light featherweight bisssell is an amazing little mighty vacuum. I own a few other products from Bissell and they never ever disappointed me, my best decision ever on buying this one. I am a clean freak even with health issues but this light, majestic little vacuum makes my life so easy, I can even clean my truck so conveniently. Now that we officially know my son has asthma arrangements had to be made, I had to find a vacuum that picks up pet hair and particles and this is it look no further. Don't mind the conversation of my daughter with her sibling. lol bottom line is I heard the stories but seeing is believing and this Bissell Light featherweight is powerful and gentle if you know what mean also not that much noise which is a plus.

This vacuum is lightweight, easy to use, and efficient. Many of the other lightweight, affordable vacuums do not have a brush roll feature, and this one is very good at cleaning up hair, dust, and crumbs from both carpet and tile floors, that is, when it’s actually working. When the brush roll is working, it quickly becomes full of hair (no pets - just 4 girls living in an apartment) which shows it is working instead of pushing the hair around, but it is a pain to clean. The manual does not give instructions on how to remove the brush roll for cleaning as this may affect the motor that is attached to it, so you are forced to cut the hair out from underneath. This is a tedious process and it still leaves tons of hair wrapped up around the sides that is almost impossible to remove unless you have hours to sit there and slowly cut and pull it out. Over just a few months, the hair has built up on the sides of the brush roll to where it will only spin for a short period of time before becoming stuck again (and then just pushes the hair around on top of the carpet). The vacuum is great otherwise, just needs a way to properly remove the brush roll for cleaning!

I just moved into a new place with a lot more tile than my old place, so I needed a vacuum that could handle a lot of kitty fur, stuff my kid treks through, and whatever else ends up on the floors. This is a fantastic little vacuum, especially for the low price! It all detaches and the vacuum can be used like an old school Dust Buster, which is awesome for the couch and lint trap of the dryer, pedestal fans, etc. I’m not picky and didn’t have high demands for this. I don’t care that it’s corded or doesn’t stand up by itself (but it does lean forward and will stay in that position if it’s not bumped or anything). I do have to clean the filter out multiple times when I vacuum the entire downstairs. It works on the carpeted stairs and that’s a bonus - especially because my larger Bissell is too clunky for stairs. This little thing does the job and does it well. Absolutely no complaints!

Would give it zero stars. Roller brush started working intermittently for no apparent reason within a few days. Didn’t work well on carpet out of the box. Scatters debris on floors, especially cat litter. Best job it does is suck up light weight debris like hairballs. Last I used it, it overheated with a burnt electrical wire odor and shut off. Again, for no apparent reason. I never tried to push it beyond the expectations of what it was made to do. It’s just not a sturdy, well made product. Will have to take it for warranty work but I’m not sure it’s worth the hassle. I CANNOT recommend this vacuum for ANY reason.

The vacuum is very light and easy to use while also having a strong beater brush. It is corded, but that honestly makes it easier to use. So far it picks up car hair off of carpet and litter off of linoleum well.
