The chain came well packaged in a small padded jewelry box wrapped in tight plastic. The quality and appearance of the chain are excellent, it has a good weight and solid feel and sparkles nicely. I did notice that the sparkle of the chain wasn't as pronounced in some lighting but regardless it still looked legit in all lighting.
