The set arrived on time and as described. I haven't used these yet so no judgement. These compare visually equal to one 3/4" (19mm) lug nut socket I already have for my Volvo. I have a cross-bar 4-way lug wrench that pairs one end as equivalent, 13/16" & 21mm, however, when wanting to torque the lug nuts on my son's Protege5 it has 21mm lug nuts and a 13/16' five-point socket won't fit. 21mm = .826772", but 13/16" = .8125" so it is too small to fit on the lug nut. So I need a 21mm socket. On the cross-bar lug wrench they pair inches & millimeters because the tolerances are not tight and they will work, but are not ideal. 3/4" with 19mm are much closer in decimal terms so the 3/4" socket works on 19mm lug nuts. This set fills the void when I need a real five-point to torque these common millimeter lug nut sizes. Most of my lug nuts have a chrome finish so it is prudent to use the right size 5-point for minimizing damage to the finish.

I bought this set of sockets to use with new wheels that came with small tuner lug nuts and relatively small lug holes. A thick wall socket either won't fit the lug holes in these wheels, or was such a close fit that it might damage the paint or other finish on the wheels. I tried using smooth packing tape on a normal socket, but the tape wasn't durable enough to survive even one tire rotation. I was a little concerned that the metric sizes in this set of sockets wouldn't fit my standard size lug nuts, but the 19 mm socket is an identical fit to the 3/4" socket I'm replacing. I'm not sure what material the plastic sleeve is made from, but it seems durable and smooth.

The 17mm socket slipped off the first lug. I then removed the lug with an 11/16 (17.5) and 19 more lugs with ease, so they weren’t that tight. Thinking something wasn’t right I removed the plastic sleeve to reveal a cracked socket, see pic. So it either came broken or broke on the first lug. UPDATE. Sent a new one in 2 days

USED THE SOCKETS SET FOR DEEP WELL CUSTOM WHEELS, SINCE THERE IS OFTEN LITTLE ROOM FOR ANY SOCKET., THE THIN WALL WORKED (17 MONTHS) ----UNTIL THE 21MM (RED) SOCKET SHEARED IN HALF. HALF IN THE WELL & THE OTHER HALF ON THE 1/2" IMPACT GUN. i WILL SUBMIT FOR WARRANTY REPLACEMENT. HOPE THAT IT WAS JUST A FLUKE .

Please don’t pay attention to the star rating that I gave. These are cheap and will wear out quickly. The 21 mm socket broke after using it to rotate tires approximately six times. There is no way these sockets are rated for impact drivers.

Edit: Shankly made it right with me, so their customer service is excellent.The 17mm socket isn’t as good as the rest of the set. Thin wall split when removing a 17mm wheel bolt from new Jetta. Should have been no problem, but it broke open on the second bolt. The larger sizes have held up so far but I am very disappointed in the weakness of the 17mm.
