This is a necessary item to carry along given the way most airlines are becoming particular of charging for excess baggage. Such a scale is also useful to cross check if there is an error at the check in error. Avoid potential disputes.Themisto is a well known quality instruments brand. Already using their thermometer-hygrometer, multimeter etc. This travel digital weighing scale is accurate, with clear display, options for setting target weight.Not yet tested battery life. But it was nice that my pack came with a spare battery.Overall it is total value for money and beats competing products.

So easy for weighing travel bags, a must have for travelers. Price is good! Quality is just right!

Very useful for travelling purpose

An accurate measure carried out with a simple test of 1 ltr water bottle in a small light weight poly bag. It read exact 1 kg coz the measures are expected to be in the accuracy rage of +/- 100 gms (0.01kg). While I havent checked on the higher weight range, but the sensitivity shows the errors may at worst be about 2-3%.This is one of the few instruments I have and I found it to be simple stupid and very functional. It came with the battery inserted but a slip of non-conducting material inserted which needed to be removed and you are good to go. The clip assembly too is a little better than the others.Themesto has some reasonably good quality stuff and if reads the reviews of most of its products, for One, you will find you end up making a choice based on the reliability it displays through the reviews and the second is that it has a selection of items which help buyer like me to select its item due to the trust factor it displays.

Good project

Apart from using it as regular weighing scale you can also use it to set weight, if luggage weighs above the set weight it turns red.challenge is lifting heavy weight; say 20+ kgs and holding it steadily for few seconds for it to give you an exact weight.

After using this luggage weight scale for 4 months I am writing this review. Its accuracy is perfect. I am a frequent traveler; it helps me a lot. Its display is perfect on low light condition and set value is amazing. I can set 7kg for my cabin luggage bag and easily measure it, no need to see the number in display. When screen shows red it means my bag is above 7 kg.Best point is that it comes with an extra battery.I am happy with this product and highly recommend to all
