Mitutoyo505-730 D15TX Dial Caliper, 2 mm/Rev, 0 mm-150 mm, 0.02 mm

My battery powered digital calipers never seem to have a good battery, so when I need to measure in metric I was always looking for batteries rather than getting things done. This is great quality, seems to agree with my other measuring tools, and best of all it will never need a new battery. If you need metric specific calipers these are a good reliable tool.

After ordering a $31 made in China dial mic that failed in 10 minuets and a $30 digital mic that never displayed the same measurement twice + destroyed batteries and locked up: I decided to pay more then double and buy a made in Japan dial mic.In comparison, this mic is an absolute accurate dream to operate.Do your self a favor and pay for this item, it is worth every dime.also buy it on Amazon or locally where you have a real return policy.Best wishes and this item will save me thousands due to it actually being accurate.However it is a little stiff in comparison to the older mic's I had before.

I hate to post bad reviews, but some kind of quality issue must be going on. Caliper looks was DOA. Dial hand had slipped off of the center shank. Contacted Amazon, and they are refunding it.

they feel hella cheap and they're hella lighter than my identical calipers that read standard (inches) instead of metric
