Written in simple form for understanding
This was required for my college's Survey of Anatomy & Physiology course. It was written in simple form for understanding which helped to grasp the material. The chapters weren't excessively long. I valued the information in this textbook.

Good book
I as a good book arrived in good condition, was packed with care and I found it a better price here on Amazon.

5 Stars
Rented this for my college course. Does not offer a barcode return, must print a label (barbaric). Will rent more books from amazon because it's the most affordable option.

So useful
One of my most used rentals this semester at school. Was in good shape and I thought it to be extremely handy with what I was learning. It has review questions at the end of each chapter which also helped.

In-depth and informative
Great textbook! I bought this book for an Anatomy-Physiology class but I'll be keeping it for later referance. Book breaks down the human body so well and so in-depth!

E-Book is not the same
I thought the Kindle version of this book would be more convenient than lugging around a almost 700 page textbook with me everywhere I go, but unfortunately, this is not proving to be the case. First of all, in order to access the book on more than one device, you have to remove it from previous devices/de-register those devices. This makes it so that your place is not kept (how far you've read) and adds a couple super annoying steps when you just want to review your flashcards for a few minutes during a break. Secondly, the colors in all the pictures are weirdly inverted. I can't figure out why, unless it has something to do with identifying piracy (as it certainly wouldn't prevent it!). This would be all well and good, except the "keys" to what the colors are identifying weren't likewise inverted, rendering them borderline useless. (See pic). I think next time I'll just sacrifice my vertebral area next time and get the physical book.
