Bought to put A 9 wt and 10 wt 9 foot salt rods and neither rod fit, tubes were far too narrow and couldn't fit the last eyelet.

Works fantastic for 2piece fly rods, 7’ to 8’6” and possibly longer? (which i have not tried)……I have used it with the reels attached, even with old bigger automatic reels from the 60’s side by side and it works fine.....side pockets for extra gear, reels, flies etc. come in handy also. Throw it in the back of your truck, suv or whatever and go with no worries....

I bought this carrier a year ago and it has held 7 different rods (3/4wt, 5wt, 6wt 3 different 8wts and a 9wt. only 2 at a time obviously) and they've all fit no problem. I've taken this on my bike, out on my kayak, in the back of the truck. The only wear on it is fading on it is fading from the sun. The only addition I wish it had sometimes was a second mesh pocket on the outside

The pockets seem to be upside down and there is excessive movement between the fabric and "tubes".

I like to take an extra pole when I go fishing, just in case I break one. I decided that this would be a good purchase to protect them. It is sturdy and has done an excellent job. The only draw back is one that most of these cases have. It is difficult to put a pole in and take it out with out it snagging on something. I would prefer a case that has a larger diameter tube.

Shipped two rods through checked baggage and hauled them in the open back of a pick-up for a week. Rods were well protected.
