Outstanding value
This is my second year of recreational archery. I am not a hunter - I do it just for personal satisfaction. I shoot 72 arrows every day. It gets me outside and gives me something to focus on. I have a bow and sight combination worth over $600. It was a gift of a friend who inspired me to try archery. I've reached a point where I was ready for greater draw weight. My current bow is 25 pounds. I needed at least 35 pounds. Instead of purchasing an expensive set of arms, I thought I would try an inexpensive take-down bow. For this price I had limited my expectations. But, I was extremely surprised. This bow is superb. It's not fancy. It's everything needed for recurve archery. It's a great bow to start width. I love simple things that are great at what they do. This is an example of that. I am 75 years old and I love archery. Give it a try. It is a martial art. It teaches patience and self-confidence.

Top notch bow for for an entry-level price. Excellent purchase!
This was my first recurve bow purchase and i've been using it lightly for about a year. I've have no issues, it takes adjustments well, and is fitted for lots of additional equipment. It is a rugged bow, and the riser refinished very easily should decide the beech color isn't for you. (I put 2 coats red mahogany under 2 faded coats of ebony, and 2 coats of poly.) The accessories that come with it are basic, but functional, knowing most people will replace them. There was concern in another review about the stringer being dangerous due to the leather taking so the weight. That is false. Mine came with a the leather a little twisted up, but it is clear the leather on both ends is there strictly to protect the finish and should be in place between the string and bow. If the buyer placed only the leather on the arm, it will of course snap under the pressure. If used properly, there is no danger at all. And having used it just today, I'm freshly familiar with the process, and pulling a 35# weight, so it is more than capable.

Good choice in a starter target bow
I shot semi-pro archery for years in my younger days. Decided to take it back up again. At this price I wasn't expecting an incredible system, just adequate for practice. I bought 2 bows from this company-- one wood riser and one metal riser. Both were more than adequate. (Note: a 66" or 68" bow isn't intended for hunting. I purchased both as target bows.)PROS:* Everything for around $100. (I am surprised they didn't inclue a nock or two with the system).* The sight is quite a bit better quality than I expected with this. It is made of quality plastic / vinyl and micro-adjustable.* Includes an arm guard and finger guard. Minimal but adequate.* In general the bow is well made. Everything lines up, no twisted limbs.CONS:* The arrow rest is pretty cheap; the wire broke almost immediately (so trip down to the local store to buy a decent one). You can probably plan on having to do the same thing. Vinyl screw-through arrow rests are easily available on Amazon and elsewhere.* All instructions are in Chinese. I have to wonder-- why distribute a bow in America without English instructions? For a beginning archer, English instructions (or at least a website link) would have been nice.I noticed the price went up in the 2 days since I bought it. I paid $95 for mine. But if it remains close to $100-- it's definitely a good buy.

Good for the money.
First let me start off that I cant even being to understand how you hit yourself in the face while stringing this bow if you do it per the instructions. I dont even use the stringer anymore but that person failed themselves dont be afraid of the stringer. I bought the 30 lb draw tye bow is great, take my advice and invest in a good set of arrows with nice long feathered fletches it makes all the difference in the world. The bow is nicely constructed and has about 500 shots on it now working great. Included finger tab is actually really nice. Cons: 1) Included arrow rest is disposable dont even install it just buy a different one when you order the bow, read the other reviews they always break. 2) Camo arm guard is nice but tacky for a recurve you cant legally hunt with since the highest draw weight they sell is below the legal limit. Some brown/black leather would have been nice. 3) Brass threaded inserts arent glued in they pull out easily and need to be constantly pushed back in. Note: I am 6'1" and I pull this bow until my hand touches my cheek and the string is on my nose with 30 inch arrows with no issue not sure how big you have to be to pull it to 32" as advertised to get full draw but if you are smaller than me maybe consider buying a higher draw than you planned on to get full poundage at your actual draw length.

Decent bow but the accessories are meh.
This is our second bow like this. We have a left hand 20# that’s been a dream and now this right hand 30# that has had some issues but is workable. Bow shoots nice.Negatives: The brass sight inserts came out of the wood riser during a match but some epoxy cured that. The sight that came with it is so warped to the right it will not be usable. I suggest finding an alternative sight, although our first bow had no sight issue. We use these for 4H and they work pretty good but the accessories are not very good. Still for the price, it’s easy to upgrade the extras.

Sturdy, cheap and of high quality.
This is a really great novice/intermediate bow, it has quality limbs and a sturdy riser. The string came well waxed and the package shipped quickly to Aus, the arm guard was of surprising quality as well as the finger tab. Things that let the bow down was the cheap sight although I shoot bare bow so that didn’t matter and the bow is a bit loud so if your hunting you will need beaver balls. Overall a fantastic bow would recommend.

Better than expected for the price!
Pretty pleased with this bow for the price. The accessories are not the best but honestly less cheap-feeling than I expected. We are beginner archers and only used a Samick Sage previously. When we were unable to get a Sage in 20 lbs. we looked for something similar and found this. Obviously not as good quality but in the past 3 days we've shot around 700 arrows and are pleased with how it shoots. The test will be to see how durable it is but it feels solid and well constructed and I doubt it will break.

seems ok so far testing yet to do but shes Solid
ok so here is what you need to know i ordered the left handed version of this and thats what i got also i ordered the 28lbs draw again got what i ordered, the target site is not left handed but when you flip the rail upside down everything mounts properly but now all the numbers are reversed putting a proper left handed bow site would have be only the right thing to do but that's the cheap out here, the sockets where you insert the limbs to is plastic but it seems sturdy so time will tell. the rest is fantastic she's a 68 inch bow so make sure you at least 5 foot 8 or taller for this baby i'm 5 foot 9 so i am good to rock .. there does not appear to be any finish on the riser which is a bonus if you want to stain or just clear coat your free to do so as its ready to go for that otherwise leave it alone its fine either way .. the included instructions are 97% to the good .. i have not shot the bow yet as i am waiting on a rest i ordered i bought this as an experimental bow to start with before i do any permanent setups with it, they say to give the string 15 max twists to start setting the brace height i want mine at 210MM and so far that has taken 15 then let site for an hour then check then twist again another 15 the string needs to stretch out and remember to wax it as well with proper string wax i am leaving it sit strung over night to see of there is anymore movement in the string i'll check again in the morning and see if its moved or not you will need a ruler or brace checking tool for this, I will update this review once i have had some time in with the bow and i have to figure out the sighting system that comes with it as well so stay tuned for and update but so far things are looking good.
