I purchased this metal detector to try to locate the buried sprinkler heads in my yard. Service calls are extremely expensive. The heads have a metal ring around the tip. I was able to locate the buried sprinkler heads easily, dig them out and get the system running again. Since then, I used it to find a missing key in the tall grass behind the house.The detector was packaged well and included everything needed to get started - the detector, a storage case, a combination shovel/pick with a pouch, an easy to understand instruction booklet and a couple of 9 volt batteries. The display is backlit and features adjustable sensitivity and has an ear phone jack that allows you to operate it quietly. The quality is excellent and it more than paid for itself the first time out.I highly recommend it.

Lightweight, easy to use metal detector. The arm piece that sits on your arm while holding it keeps it stable as well as reduces pressure trying to hold it. Will find a range of metals and I like that fact that it shows what type of metal you are finding and how deep it is.I haven't gotten to use it as much as I will when the weather cools off, but I have used it around an old homestead area and did find old parts to buggies or something I haven't identified yet. Am hoping to find old coins and such when I use it more.I love my new toy!

Great product and easy to use

Got the metal detector within a few days. Gifted it to my son for his 11th birthday. He absolutely loves it. It's so easy to put together and take apart. The case for it is good quality and very lightweight. My son loves how there's different modes and functions it has. I also love how the company (a new seller to Amazon) took the time to reach out to me and make sure the product met my standards and was all around happy with the product. I feel that shows great customer service and shows they care for their customers. So this product is highly recommended.

Not my first time using a metal detector but a bit disappointed in this one. This worked fine on dry sand but had numerous false beeps when on the beach area close to the water. If the sand was still damp it constantly beeped. Turned the sensitivity down and that helped. Was basically useless in waves. It either needed to be always dry or submerged. Waves made it beep when it got wet and again when out of the water. Still, bought it with low expectations. I wouldn’t buy again.

My wife had lost an earring in our front yard so we had always wanted to get a metal detector to see if we could find it, so I bought this for her for Mother's Day. It was easy to assemble the pieces and then disassemble the pieces for transport in the cute "banjo" case. We are still learning how to use the metal detector, so we have been practicing by digging several holes at different depths and then putting coins or jewelry in the holes to see what is on the display. So far, we have had great fun and look forward to more in the future.

I bought this for my daughter‘s 25th birthday. She went out the same day in my yard to start searching for things. Found some coins and a dogs ID that came off of a collar. She had fun searching and is excited to go other places. It’s pretty lightweight and easy to set to distinguish between metals.Had other detectors that were heavy and complicated so we just stopped.This detector was a great choice. Price and ease of use were perfect for her use.

This metal detector did not detect further than 1-2" under the ground. This was disappointing. The shovel broke immediately when I dug out a coin. I plan to return this and get a higher quality metal detector. First day using this metal detector, I do not recommend.
