🌊 Elevate Your Aquarium Experience!
The Hygger Aquarium Air Stone is a 2-inch round disk designed to enhance oxygen levels in your fish tank. It produces small, dense bubbles quietly, ensuring a serene environment while effectively increasing dissolved oxygen. Weighing 5.2oz, it remains stable at the bottom of the tank and is compatible with both freshwater and saltwater systems, requiring a 2W or larger air pump for optimal performance.

Air Stone bubbler
Perfect for my black walled aquarium, added black tubing to the air stone, and set up was easy.

My little fishes love it!
The media could not be loaded. First, I wish I had been more patient in placing my order because I didn't realize there was no pump or tubing. So, I did some more shopping and purchased ALL of the products I needed. It took me about 10 minutes to set it up and the fish love it! I really can't tell a difference between the sizes of the bubbles when I turn the valve, but it's okay. I definitely should've gotten one of these sooner!

Works very well!
I primarily use this in a 5 gallon tank with African cichlid fry to get a little more air flow for them to stay healthy. I have it hooked up to a large air pump, but I'm running several other things from it including an adjustable valve to control air flow. You don't need a very powerful pump at all to get the desired effect from this air stone. It produces a large amount of small bubbles for a solid couple of weeks, then as it gets filled with minerals from the harder water and algae it diminishes slightly. After a few weeks it still works better than any other air stones, the bubbles are just slightly larger.A 30 minute soak in very light vinegar or peroxide and water with a quick scrub and it's back to its original state. The suction cups it came with are cheap and failed pretty quickly, but I didn't buy it for its suction cups. Not a deal breaker at all.Highly recommended for fry OR to help airate excess ammonia from a tank. Sometimes I switch it to the back compartment of my 15 gallon to aid with this and it clears up the ammonia in a day.

Control valve set-up
Just set this up today and I really enjoy the Nano bubbles, the bubbles from the 2inch black disc I purchased are much smaller than a regular aquarium air stone. Some of the bubbles come out big, but many are Nano. I soaked my disc for 3 days - (Because I have been extremely busy, finally got to get to installing it).~ I ordered the 2inch black disc, I hope in the future, for this product, the stone disc will also be black. At first I had this new air stone hooked up without the control valve to a 1.7 watt air pump and it was too powerful of flow for my 11inch deep aquarium. (I added a picture of how I installed the control valve). If you are not going to split the flow from your pump to another air stone, you will want to create a sort of air drain off if you want a lighter flow of air bubbles. If you just hook up the control valve to one air pump, make a way for the pressure of air to escape, for the longevity of your air pumps. (You don't want to cause air back flow to your air pump - it will make your air pump have to work harder). I added a cotton to the opposite end of the control valve to soften any hissing noise from the air release - I cannot hear any air hissing with the cotton attached. (See picture)I hope this product will work for a long time. I am going to purchase a second air stone for when this one gets dirty to switch it out.Note; air drain set-up should be behind the water check valve.Fun aqua product, I recommend for purchase.
