1 mil thick but very strong do not break the self adhesive is very good won’t unpeel once stuck down good quality bags

Not sure of the exact weight but it’s about the weight of a piece of paper

I only use mailing labels so I don't know for sure but I don't see why not. Try calling your local Post office and they will tell you if you can or not.
