I bought this flag in January, 2024, as a gift for one of my neighbors on my street. It was a beauty, flying atop a 15-foot flagpole. I looked at it every day. The colors were striking, and the star field stood out all the way down the street. Then, one day in the first part of April, I noticed what looked like daylight at the end of the red and white stripes. I walked down to the neighbors house, and sure enough, the stripes end of the flag was in tatters. Not just one or two threads unraveled, but the entire end of the flag was a mess. This flag looked so well made. It still had all its colors flying high with no sign of fading, but the flag will not last another month. It's just coming apart. I haven't talked to the neighbor about it. I'm too embarrassed. I would like to talk to the manufacturer to see what happened. I want to replace it, but not with another one which will fall apart in 3-4 months. What happened to this beautiful US Flag?

Made in America. So many flags are cheap Chinese junk. This one is heavy duty and looks great.
