Perfect Solution
As advertised. Simple, easy to use and better than the plastic versions of the same idea provided with my camera.

Great fit and quality.
Fits my X-E5 well and the leather pieces protect the paint finish on the camera body. Exactly what I was looking for!

Allows mounting Peak Design anchors to strap lugs with small eyelets (Fuji X100V, Canonet QL17 GIII)
My Fuji X100V has strap lugs with tiny eyelets which are not really compatible with the thick cord of the current generation Peak Design anchors. The solution is to use a split ring, and attach the anchors to the ring. However, the triangular rings included with the X100 series are a bad match for the Peak Design anchors, because the anchor snaps into one of the vertices of the triangle (the triangle is really meant for a flat strap, in which case the strap occupies the width of an entire edge). Enter these circular split rings with leather covers. These are better than the Fuji triangles because the peak design anchor naturally moves to the opposite point of the circle as the strap lug. They look fine (see photo). My only complaint is that they are just a tiny bit larger than I would like, and the leather protector covers are wide in the middle instead of tapered, which causes them to have "points" which feel slightly bulkier than ideal. In practice this isn't a real issue, so I am satisfied. I bought another pair for my 1970s Canonet QL17 GIII (pictured).

"JJC" Camera Strap Split Ring & Leather Cover (2 pair)
I bought these for my new Fujifilm X100VI camera. The stock triangular rings and covers were made for the included neck strap that I didn't want to use. These provide protection for the surfaces when combined with Peak Design quick release attachments. I've always been pleased with the many JJC products I have purchased, and these are an economical way to prevent wear on expensive equipment.

What a difference a ring makes!
What a difference a ring makes! My Nikon D750 camera body comes with studs and triangular split rings for shoulder straps. The right shoulder strap gets caught up and covers my viewfinder when I switch from horizontal to vertical shooting position. So it takes a few seconds to sweep the strap away from the viewfinder in order to start shooting causing some lost shots. So I searched long and hard for an alternative solution. I considered reinvesting in a different connection system for my Op/Tech shoulder strap. I considered switching from the classic 3/8" thin nylon webbing to the tubular nylon loops connector or switch to another brand as Peak Design or Custom SLR that uses tubular loops as well. However the Op/Tech Uni-Loop connectors use 3/4" wide webbing while other brands connect directly to their 1" - 2" wide camera straps and all would interfere with camera handling (in my opinion). This O split ring allows smooth movement of the shoulder straps and swings easily out of the way for vertical shots. The leather protector is a nice addition to prevent scratching of expensive camera bodies. I wished there was a plastic retainer clip that attaches onto the split ring versus the bulky leather patch. A better design would be a D split ring. With a D split ring, the 3/8" webbing would rest on the flat part of the ring while the circular portion slides smoothly against the camera stud. This O split ring and protector set is not cheap by any means. But the alternative connector or camera straps are way more.

Nice accessory.
No complaints here, they look pretty clean and classy, I have Peak anchors linked to mine. the rings help expand articulation on the strap.

Plastic not Leather covers
"Leather" covers are plastic - not leather.

Functional but a bit bulky.
Works as intended and achieves its goal. Secured my old camera strap onto my new A7iii easy peasy while eliminating the metallic jingling caused by the standard rings. The leather cover is a bit bulky and does interfere with ease of mic port access, but it's a minor inconvenience not a major one.

Perfect alternative to OEM X100VI ones. Better fit if you plan on using PGYTECH or Peak Design anchors. Very satisfied with the product.

Only gripe, and I could be wrong, but I think these are vinyl not leather.

Purchase this if you bought the camera brand new. It will protect your paint on the camera where the strap rubs or hits.
