Like a lot of folks, we wanted to start juicing to get more vegetables in our diet. We wanted to get something easy to use and maintain, built to last, that produced the best quality juice, especially from leafy greens. It seemed that we couldn't have it all, you either had to choose between the convenience of a centrifugal, or the higher quality juicing of a masticating juicer. Right when we were about to pull the trigger and get a Breville, the Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer hit the market, the first slow masticating juicer with a large feed chute! Suddenly, there was a product that had everything we were looking for. We've been using it virtually every day for the past month and couldn't be happier. Build Quality and Warranty Very solidly built, uses a 240W motor, which can handle most anything you can throw at it. Since it churns at low speed, operation is nice and quiet. Lots of thoughtful touches, like the smart cap and dots to help align the parts for assembly. Warranty is 10 years "bumper to bumper", excl. normal wear and tear. Also included are cleaning utensils, smoothie strainer, and recipe book. Ease of Use With the large feed chute, you can reduce prep time since in many cases you can push whole fruits and vegetables in. However, stringy vegetables, such as celery and parsley, should still be cut to ~2" portions, as I've found that otherwise they can clog the exit chute. There are only 5 parts to assemble and clean (plus the pusher), so clean up generally takes me 6-10 minutes. It's a "slow" juicer, but it's quite efficient. Usually, it takes only about a minute or two to get a 12 oz glass of power greens (kale, spinach, celery, apple, etc). Juice Quality We mostly juice leafy greens, and it does a phenomenal job! Judging by the minimal quantity of dry pulp that is left behind, it is a very efficient extractor, with very little froth. We've had success with a wide variety of other material -- carrots, apples, pears, beets, watermelon, ginger. The only things it doesn't juice well are soft, fleshy fruits, such as ripe mango or peaches. You get the juice, but there is also a fair amount of wet pulp left behind. Overall Impression We knew that our best chance of consistently juicing was to get a no-hassle juicer. With it's reduced prep time, ease of use and cleaning, and the high quality of juice produced, this juicer absolutely hits it out of the park. Highly recommend the Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer.

This is our second juicer and has by far impressed us over the Omega VRT350. (Still a good juicer just a level below this one) Some great features are: The "smokey" feed chute shows you the produce getting crushed! (cool to watch) The smart cap allows you to mix and see the yield of juice you get from each item put in The large feed chute reduces the amount of prep time by half Leafy and more fibrous produce are easily juiced without blocking the exit chute (HUGE IMPROVEMENT over the Omega) Way less pulp compared to the Omega (Perfect amount, you're not eating your juice but its not pure liquid) You don't have to cut your produce into tiny pieces prior to juicing and you roll the leafy greens (way better!) Clean up is easy with the brushes provided and smart cap. The minute we turned on this juicer we knew it was going to be a good one. (Thanks John) ***Update*** We are still loving this machine. We did notice a manufacturing defect with our juicing screen so we contacted Kuvings Support and they sent us a new one free of charge. Someone mentioned in another review that when you buy on Amazon you may not have the warranty coverage. We had to send Kuvings a copy of our invoice and they had no issues with it. ***Update Aug 2015*** Juicer still working great, I make green juice regularly and thought I would share a tip on how to get it moving nicely through the juicer.. alternate what you put in for example: Kale Cucumber Celery Cabbage And repeat Another tip I've recently discovered is using cabbage. It pushes everything through (even fussy kale and celery) and cleans out the strainer very well which makes cleaning easy. The cabbage also gives the juice a much more balanced/mild taste. ***Update March 2016*** So Juicer is still working great, today the silicon plug just tore (I use it at least twice a week still), emailed Kuvings (this morning) since they do not offer that piece for sale on their site and they are sending us a whole new bowl under warranty(responded within two hours)! This company is absolutely amazing with their customer service, I don't think I could be more impressed! 100% worth the money not only for a great product but the service as well! Such a rare thing these days.

So far brilliant! I am very pleased with it and intend to buy a couple more as gifts for some special friends. There is a little corner in the waste tube which requires special attention for cleaning it, but less troublesome than a previous one!

This is by far the best juicer I have ever used. I honestly have nothing bad to say about it. if you are juicing wheatgrass I find it easiest to push a granny smith through at the same time and you get the most amazing wheatgrass shot. Easy to set up, easy to use, easy to clean up. I know you can push things through whole but I usually cut most things up into at least a couple of pieces so that I can alternate them in the machine and have had no clogs as yet. I have to say that one of my favorite things is that the pulp comes out into an external bin so there is no more stopping half way through juicing and cleaning out the machine because it is full. Love this machine. Worth every penny!!!!

I have had a juicer for 25 years. Last year I chose a beautiful red Kuvings juicer as a gift for my son's wedding. He and his wife loved it. When I tried it out, I discovered that it was so much easier to use and to clean than my old workhorse juicer, that I decided to give the old one away and buy a new Kuvings. In the meantime, they had come out with a model featuring a much larger feed tube. This made the operation as perfectly smooth as you could possibly get, clean-up is a breeze compared to other models, and the juice itself is superior. There's nothing more to be said about the quality of this machine except for its durability and warranty service, which, since it is so newly on the market, remains to be seen. Here's hoping the quality in this product holds all the way down the line...

I have been using Kuvings Whole slow juicer regularly and it really works well. The juices are so fresh that you actually feel you are eating it whole. It is easy to operate, easy to clean. Very happy with this investment.
