LED Video Light 2-Pack, 5600K Dimmable USB Camera Lighting Kit

Used a few times now. They do what it says on the box. Great items.

I hummed and hawed about buying the Ci-Fotto LED Video Light 2-Pack because I wasn't sure it would fit my needs. I was photographing a full day of football presentations, and last year I had a problem with shadows with the flash I was using and had no space for a large set of fill lights, so I took a risk and took the plunge. I'm so pleased I did; they worked perfectly, although I may not used them again until next years presentations they exceded my expectations.

While these video lights clearly have other applications, I primarily use them while doing video interviews. Fortunately, my PC laptop has two USB ports, one for each light. My Mac, on the other hand, needs an adapter to accommodate them. Either way, they work. My office is quite dark, even with the lights on and the curtains open. These are great for just giving a bit of a boost to the light to make it look natural, yet still be visible. I have no idea if this is a good thing for the other person on the Zoom/Teams call, as I am clearly more visible and maybe they'd prefer I wasn't. The fact that there is the ability to change the intensity of the light is good, even essential, and the brightest setting hasn't been required as it's too powerful for what I need. But good that it's there if needed. Kind of like an amp that goes up to 11. Also useful is the ability to tilt the light; as I wear glasses, this means you can easily adjust and find an angle that doesn't give glare or a reflection off the glasses. The coloured filters, while a nice thing to include, don't really add anything to the package in the context of what I use these for. The only negative, and this isn't a knock on the lights, is that if you use them while your computer isn't plugged in to a power source, the battery on the PC drains quickly. On the Mac, not so much, but I did an hour-long video interview while unplugged from power, and by the end of it, I was at 9% battery life left on my HP PC. Now, it doesn't have the greatest battery life anyway, but it's something I'm always aware of if I need to do an interview while away from a power source, switching them on at the last moment and using the lowest possible light intensity. I've also used these lights for taking photos of small objects and for closeup videos, and they really help boost ambient light and compensate for the often unwanted hues from room lighting. I can see that they aren't the sturdiest pieces of equipment in the world, but if you aren't handling them a lot, then they are just fine. For the price, they do the job well.

Excellent quality, size and decoration

Look good and do what they should. One worked perfectly the other flickers occasionally and turns off so guessing a poor connection somewhere that a but of re soldering should fix it. Coloured filters are great and you can mix them up to make other colours. lights very bright on full. Have them 3 stars as need to sort the one out and they feel a bit cheap. But yes I would recommend them.

Really helpful and easy to use, they do not use too much power. The gels are very helpful as well and the fact that you can control the light intensity is good too. These are for indoor streaming mainly but you could use them outdoors if you have a power bank because it's USB powered.

Too short. You need a stand to make it work

J’ai acheté une lampe de stream LED pour setup gaming / streaming, et franchement c’est un des accessoires qui change le plus la qualité globale d’une configuration. Dès la première utilisation, on voit immédiatement la différence sur la caméra. Le visage est mieux éclairé, les ombres sont réduites et l’image devient beaucoup plus “pro” sans effort particulier. Même avec une webcam moyenne, le rendu est largement amélioré. Ce que j’apprécie surtout, c’est la qualité de la lumière. Selon les modèles, on peut ajuster la température (chaud / neutre / froid) et l’intensité. Ça permet d’adapter l’éclairage selon l’ambiance du stream ou même selon l’heure de la journée. Le rendu est beaucoup plus naturel qu’un simple éclairage de pièce classique. Autre point très important pour le streaming : le confort visuel. La lumière est douce, non agressive, et ne gêne pas même après plusieurs heures devant le PC. C’est vraiment pensé pour les longues sessions. L’installation est généralement simple. La plupart des modèles se fixent sur le bureau ou derrière l’écran avec un bras ou un trépied, ce qui permet de bien orienter la lumière sans encombrer l’espace. Une fois bien réglée, on n’a plus besoin d’y toucher. Au niveau du rendu global du setup, ça donne directement un aspect plus “pro streamer”. Même une petite config paraît plus travaillée avec un bon éclairage, surtout si on combine avec un fond propre ou un RGB léger. Avant même de changer de caméra, de PC ou d’écran, une bonne lampe change déjà 50 % du rendu visuel.

Ultimamente mi sono avvicinato alla fotografia still life facendo esperimenti senza avere una vera attrezzatura, ma utilizzando quello che avevo in casa. Non ero soddisfatto e ho sentito la necessità di acquistare delle fonti di luce per le mie foto, quindi ho deciso di prendere questo kit. I faretti, di grandezza 14cm x 9.5cm, sono fatti di ottima plastica e leggeri. Il manuale in lingua italiana è scritto bene e rende facile l'utilizzo; basta collegare i faretti con l'USB ad un alimentatore, un power bank o alla porta del PC. Buona la luce emessa che può essere regolata su 10 intensità e grazie ai filtri bianco, rosso, giallo e blu, presenti nel kit, si possono avere effetti particolari. Vengono forniti nella confezione anche due cavalletti da scrivania, ai quali è possibile aggiungere una prolunga che alla massima estensione raggiunge i 36cm. Consiglio a chi non ha troppe pretese, per l'ottima qualità-prezzo, e a chi come me si è avvicinato a questa tipologia fotografica.
