Hovico Solar Fountain - Panel Water Pump for Bird Bath Solar Panel Kit Outdoor Fountain for Outdoor Small Pond, Patio Garden and Fish Tank

Year 2 and its still working great. I did take the pump and solar panel in for the Winter. I reworked how I first set it up because it was spilling the water out of the smaller fountain I first had it in and now it has a larger water reservoir to draw from. It lifts the water a foot to just bubble over rocks (no up spray). The fountain spray was catching the wind and pumping the water out quite fast. Of course, without sun, it stops working, but that's the nature of solar power.

I planted a water lily in a large pot and wanted some circulation to help keep the water fresher longer. The moment the little solar panel hit the light, it started running. I initially used one of the cap accessories but ended up taking it off because the water was deep and the air flow was perfect without the accessories. Super easy to use, compact, and the cord length enables you to move the panel around to make the best use of the sunlight. Such a great price for what you get!

This pump does not work. I bought the product and set it out in full sun. The pump worked sporadically for only 2 hours and has never worked again! I tried moving the solar panel to several locations.Indirect sunlight. The pump simply does not work and is not worth the money! I am very disappointed with the product.And the seller and will not buy it again!

Works to keep my birdbath from going stagnant. Don't expect a fountain but keeps the water moving. Easy to set up. The cord is nice and long to enable placement of the solar panel in the sunniest location.

Works great for the small water fountain I made and has enough power from the sun to shoot a stream of water about 2.5 feet high, which depends on the spout cover you decide to use.It does however needs full sun to work at top flow, as it stated in the description when I purchased. Love it as the bird l like the quiet operation. easy to setup and works out of the box!

Worked ok for a summer. Stored properly over winter. Will not work now. Did not work unless panel was in full sun. Water flow was as expected, again, when the panel was in full sun. Overcast days it sprayed minimally or not at all. Easy to set up. Nice small size for a birdbath in a full sun area.

I'm happy with this little Fountain I've had it for about a month. I added it to my bird bath and the birds really like it. It does need the solar panel to be in full sun for it to work properly. I haven't had any issues as of yet

Not powerful barely pumps the water through the tubes .. basically just to hunk a junk

Unfortunately not very satisfied with this fountain pump. It keeps cutting off, even in full sunlight. The water pressure is low—just a weak trickle that’s barely visible. I’d recommend a stronger pump for better performance.

Works wonderfully in my birdbath! I love the fact that it can be unplugged so I could hide the powercord behind my fencing.

Compré esta bomba para una pequeña fuente y funciona de maravilla, el cable que une la bomba con el panel solar es bastante largo (poco más de 2 metros), alcanzó perfecto para colocar el panel sobre el techo y que los rayos del sol le estén dando casi todo el día, la relación calidad precio es buena, en el pasado compré otra bomba, pero nada que ver con ésta en cuanto a la calidad de los materiales, esperemos que dure mucho, ya les estaré actualizando. Por lo demás el paquete llegó en buen estado. Ojalá les sirva la información a los consumidores. Hola de nuevo, hoy es 26 de mayo del 2025 y quise actualizar la reseña a este producto, la bomba sigue funcionando, el sonido del agua cayendo por los cuencos hace que las aves vengan a beber agua (también algunos insectos), lo cual es genial porque hemos estado teniendo días verdaderamente soleados, volveré por aquí en unos meses más para volver a actualizar.

My concrete bird bath was fine but after watching videos on fountains I purchased this one and am thoroughly impressed. It sounds wonderful and there was an increase in bird visits on day one. I will be ordering another for the back yard.

Definitely do not recommend for use in small ponds as the ad suggests. There is a disclaimer that says this will not work with cloud cover but this hardly even works when the sun is out and bright. It sputters, has poor flow, and gets clogged extremely easily just from natural pond debris. I’m constantly outside adjusting it and cleaning it. This should not be advertised for small ponds what so ever. This would be better suited for a bird bath and that’s it!
