Monster Trucks (Pull Ahead Books ― Mighty Movers)

Most easy readers are short basic stories that get old quickly. These little books (Pull Ahead - Mighty Movers series) are different. They are non-fiction learning experiences filled with information little kids, particularly boys, want to know. The topics covered in these books are myriad and they are all well written. They are easy enough for little ones to read, and still provide challenges as they include more technical terms like "tread" and "engine". Certain words are in bold. These are words that are included in the glossary in the back. There is also an index, a fun facts page, and a diagram labeling the various parts.For being and easy reader, it doesn't get any better than this!

Great book

My son, who is 3.5, loves this book. There are some trucks in there that predate him so he's very interested in who's who. He pretends to read it to me. Only wish I could find more monster truck books for his age.

Although dated your little Monster Truck fans would enjoy learning more about the trucks as you read to them or they read it. It is dated and not including most of the famous trucks today. The book is informative and aims at teaching little ones about the trucks and teh information still works today.

My grandson, age 4, loves trucks of all kinds. He has been to a monster truck show and was captivated. We read this book at bedtime, after breakfast, and at rest time. Plus he looked at the pictures himself.

I bought this book for my 4 year old grand son because it was on his Amazon wish list. I don't think anyone realized how small it was when they added it to the list. I was disappointed in the size. It has easily gotten lost on the self with the more substantial books. Someone mentioned that it was more like a pamphlet and I agree. I am a big proponent of children having books from a young age but I hardly consider this a "book". Although any child that likes monster trucks would enjoy this book, i would not purchase it again. I would have liked at least a thicker cover and a little more substance to the book itself.

This was bought for a friend of mines Godson who absolutely loves monster trucks. I think it's the new in thing for juniors. Anyhow, he loves flipping through and looking at the pictures. Very good childrens book, Recommended.

i have nothing bad to say about this book. My four year old son has fun looking at the pictures and practicing reading. He really enjoys this book. I would recommend it to a monster truck fan.

Didn't check the dimensions, so size was a little disappointing at first BUT with a Monster Truck mad grandson he thought it was fantastic. Some American spelling and a bit expensive for what it is, which is why only 4 stars.

It was a hit right from the start with the grandchild!
