I was looking for a way to get my extra Makita 18-volt batteries off my work bench but still be close by and handy, and these work perfectly! I purchased the 5-pack and found it to be very reasonably priced for these high quality holders. They look and feel like something made by Makita specifically for their batteries, they come with mounting screws, and are well designed to easily fit side-by-side on the wall. The batteries clip firmly into the holder just as they would into a tool and you just press the button on the back of the battery to release. The advantage of this is it allows you to mount the battery in almost any position without falling out.

I have these battery holders installed in a couple of locations at my house. I tend to move batteries in bulk between my basement workshop and my garage workshop. I try not to keep my DeWalt batteries in the garage during the winter, as the cold weather can be very hard on both the service life and energy capacity of the battery. Therefore, when the cold weather hits, all my batteries go into the basement for my winter indoor projects. By having the same battery storage solution on both workbenches, it makes it easy to see and account for all my batteries and ensure that they have a "high and dry" place to call home. I appreciate that these holders fit into one another like puzzle pieces, as it helps with the installation alignment. In addition, there is a satisfying click when you drop the batteries into the holder. Removal is very easy - no struggling, just a simple push of the battery release paddle and out they come. The holder tolerances are very good in this regard. I am planning to buy more of these as my battery inventory grows! 5/5 stars!

Mounted these to a board and used on french cleat wall. They work great. They hold the batteries securely and make organization a breeze. Best solution for battery storage. Buy 'em!

in a very, teeny-tiny baby step in furtherance of "organizing my garage," purchasing and installing this ingenious space-saving device not only helps me dispatch some clutter, it also allows me to quickly locate stored and fully recharged kobalt 24v batteries, ready at a moment's notice. and, yes, if i ever accumulate more than six such batteries, i'll buy another holder. it's just that good.

They are easily mountable, come with all the screws and seem like they will gold up for a long time. The batteries fit perfectly and really clean up and organize a work space. I use them in my work van on the front of my Ranger aluminum shelving.
