These Are Great!
A little unconventional usage happening here but they worked perfectly for chicken waterers! The lids fit snug and the handles are very durable. I use the other to house chicken treats and nothing had been able to get in it yet. Very happy with my purchase! Love that they're made in the usa and have so many color options😊

Light weight goods only
Bucket appeared to be the thicker heavy duty but the buckets are thin with a thin handle. BPAfree and food safe however. I’d say the bucket is not able to carry more than a half bag of smoker pellets before you feel the handle will rip off. Good buckets for dry storage foods, packaged goods etc…The lids lock on once applied. Requires tearing off the seal strip to reopen.

Latches are not good, Not for food storage.
The latches on the lid have nothing to latch to. They go on a rim, but the rim has no ridge to grab so it just slides off. I was willing to have patience to wait for the seal (that they send, but you have to add) to get squished so that the latch would stay. After realizing there is nothing for the lid to hold onto, I realized it was futile. The lid kept popping off over and over and over. I gave it a lot of tries. I eventually gave up.Now it works for holding my fermenting tools and smoker wood chips. The lid still doesn’t want to stay on even with the seal removed. If they make ridges for the lid to latch to then this bucket could be amazing for food storage, but alas I had to go with a different bucket with a screw top lid.

Easy to open
I love the square buckets, as they are easier for me to open. The fact that they’re made in the USA was a super perk! I needed something to sort and store pellets for my pellet grill. Awesome product!

Quality Buckets
Quality 4 gallon square bucket. I actually drilled some holes in them to use them as semi-automatic chicken waterers and feeders. One thing I didn't realize when ordering is these lids are the semi-permanent ones where you have to rip off a safety seal on one side to open it the first time. Not really a problem, but not what I was expecting.
