This is a good product, better than expected. The top is soft, and the bottom is grippy (non-slip). I read a bunch of reviews talking about how this leaked through, but that has not been our experience. I accidentally dropped about a quarter gallon of water in one spot, and a quarter gallon on another spot, and I was sure It would leak through; but a half hour later I checked under those spots, and to my surprise the water did not get through. I bought the 82" x 120", so in order to let it dry out, I draped it over our SUV in the garage. It's in the 80's Fahrenheit here, so it dried up really fast. In terms of washing; it'll fit in our top loader, but I have no intention of washing it in there. In fact, I hope I never have to wash it. The size I bought is huge, and I don't see how our washer could properly clean something this big if it was really dirty. Luckily, we aren't using this for pets or anything that will get it that dirty. It's just being used on a clean indoor floor once a week as an extra barrier (under some towels) from accidental water splashes. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

With 15 puppies we had to wash every single day and they've held up great! They completely protected our hardwood floors and didn't allow pee to soak through! Great quality!

Great alternative to use with the pups

They are a bit thinner than expected. Im not sure what I thought it would be in size. Don't get the 41x41 if you have a larger dog like a staffy or Cane Corso or want to cover a large amount of space. But it works for what I need it for and it washes great on a casual wash and dry on medium heat. I have no complaints.

Its big enough for what I needed.

I bought the large to cover a queen sized bed as I have a puppy that insists on marking it as his territory. Works perfectly and is comfortable to sleep on while babying a sick pup. Washable and pretty good looking, I do wish it came in prints but I would buy it again in a heart beat.

Does not do as represented, WAS wet on bottom near carpet and within one day (under 24 hours) the room stank, and we were cleaning the pad as corgi mistakes were made, with cleaning product specifically for cleaning pet mistakes Puddles go nowhere, it stays wet for a while and the furbaby definitely gets wet fur. Our silver muzzle corgi is having end of life situation and we were doing all we could to make him more comfortable. Our corgi gets very distressed if he has an accident. And this pet pad has memory that will knock you to the floor. It retains every mistake smell and broadcasts it. Does not matter if you clean the mistake immediately. Does not matter period. Your fur baby will also get wet. Ours, the love of our life that we are trying to comfort was becoming more agitated and unhappy. I pulled this thing out of the room and nearly passed out myself - the bottom WAS too wet - and the room had a pungent and strong odor of ammonia. Overwhelming. This IS NOT the product for you if you want something that does NOT leak through to carpet, does not have retention of smell, etc., etc. What is it good for? I don't know - it doesn't look horrible and maybe something for puppies outside so they can't touch grass. We are so stressed and devastated right now about our corgi and this mat made everything worse. This mat is outside the room and destined for the trash and I can tell you our adorable corgi - who was getting agitated beyond the beyond laid down and relaxed as soon as it was gone.
