Nice and bright and easily mounted in my shed, 6 of them giving a good even spread of light held by the clips and not the adhesive. They are fairly unobtrusive with a nice low profile and do exactly what I had hoped for. Powered by 12v car batteries connected to a solar panel and with a dimmer switch controlling a pair of them I am able to switch the lighting where I need it most… only used infrequently so I’m hoping they last a good while.

I’m pretty impressed by these. I tested them on a bench PSU and, as you’d expect, the brightness increased beyond 9V, reaching peak brightness about 12V. What I liked was, as I advanced to 24V the apparent brightness stayed the same, but the current draw approximately halved. That means, when connected to a lead acid battery, they should be equally efficient, regardless of the battery’s state of charge. Whoever designed the control circuit knew what they were doing! As I reduced the test voltage the brightness reduced too, extinguishing completely at about 8V, which is fair enough. But… and this is good… below 8V the current draw dropped to sub 1mA. That means if you accidentally leave them switched on they will drain a lead acid battery so that it needs charged and that’s unavoidable. But since the drain pretty much stops at 8V, and assuming you notice within a few days, they are unlikely to cause permanent damage to the battery. Mounting hardware’s good too. I’ll be using the screw on clips rather than sticky tape, and the clips seem well engineered - even the screws have perfectly shaped heads to fit the clips.

So I’ve installed these in a shed running from solar, hence wanting 12v for efficiency. They do a fantastic job of lighting it up, and the pair pull 14w, so around 7w a piece getting fed 12.6v Really easy to install with the brackets included, but be aware these do not clip into a rail or anything, simply squeeze the casing of the light. Not a problem whatsoever for my use case, but if installed in a van etc I can imagine a risk of falling out every now and again on really bumpy journeys. Despite not having diffusers, the light output is pretty even with a nice wide pattern with workable cri, really happy for the price! Will update once I’ve had them a while

Great little lights. Due to my interior light in my van being unreliable I installed these and the brightness is perfect. Plus with the off and on button useful when required. Very happy
