LOVE this printer!
I love this printer. So far, after 17 yrs in a profession that requires hundreds of printed documents everyday., this printer scores the highest marks. I have always used Brother Printers and will always use them. This printer with letter and legal trays is efficient, fast, clear and gets the job done without worry. Printing, copying and scanning are done accomplished efficiently. LOVE this printer!

Great copier - and more
My old copier died. This Brother Multi-Function was recommended as a replacement. So far I've only used the copier feature. It is simple and effective to use - including the sleep feature. I've not needed tech support beyond the printed instructions I'm guessing other features will be good - but I've not yet tried them. Price was competitive; delivery on time and in good condition.

Defective printer
The seller sent us a defective printer that didn't scan and couldn't print as the main ribbon was faulty. I tried numerous times to get the problem resolved, and the seller never once made any attempt at a resolution. Basically, they stole money from me!

Work use
On a small homeschool business and we take care of a lot of traffic in and out with over 200 students… It works real well but you have to give it breaks in between… Do not like the fact that you have to change the drum in it every certain amount of ink But I stayed with this product because I was used to it

So Far So Good!
I've had this printer for approximately two months and so far no complaints. Printing and scanning works seamlessly and fast, considering my previous model (MFC 8640D). I also purchased the optional 2nd tray to print legal docs and it integrates well when printing both letter and legal within the same job.

ADF scans are crooked. Unusable copy margins are a bit big. Copies are ok. Printing is ok.
Scans with ADF are ALWAYS crooked. When making copies or scans anything near the edge of the paper is cut off (copy margins are a bit big). Copies are ok. Printing is fine.

Easy to set up
Great product, easy to set up. Great print quality. Could have been less expensive though.
