Excellent build quality. Excellent sharpness even wide open.There's a bit of vignetting at corners wide open which goes away at f/2.0.The appature ring on mine is very hard and stiff, wish it was smooth. Other than that I can't ask for more with this price range.The best Viltrox lens lens I tried so far. Even better than Fujifilm lens in terms of image quality.Distortion is well controlled, the best I have seen at this wide range. Food close up range and no CA that I could notice.

For the price, build quality, bright maximum aperture, and image quality, this is THE best Fujifilm wide angle lens I’ve tested. It’s very sharp in the center when wide open, and by f2.8 it’s near perfect edge to edge. This lens reminds me a lot of the Sigma 20mm f1.4 for full frame, but it weighs significantly less and is built to a similar standard. The Color rendering is spot on, unlike the Rokinon 12mm f2, which this lens replaced.Without question, this is the best Viltrox lens in their current lineup. If you like the focal length, what are you waiting for? Just buy it!

Excellent lens. 20mm fulframe equivalent which pretty much as far as you want to go for non-fx photos. I was expecting but to keep in mind it is on longer side, not compact at all but not superhuge. but not heavy so feels nice on XT4
