* UPDATE after using for a few days *After some initial issues with skipping and not writing as smoothly as I had hoped this pen has worked itself out. It now writes very smoothly and hasn't skipped since the first day. I still think I'd prefer it to have a slightly finer tip and think it sort of feels cheap for a $12 pen but I like it. The clip is a particularly weak point though. I feel if i clipped it onto a shirt pocket or the button part of a polo shirt it would bend and break in short order. This is a very good pen. If they would beef up the clicker and pocket clip it woudl be a great pen. I'll likely buy another one in a different color. A couple more notables after some use - I can make it smear as a lefty but it is better than most other pens. I have to really push down on the ink immediately after writign to make it smudge. It actually does better than most though when I write something, then immediately highlight what I wrote. Usually this makes the writing smear and the dilutes the highlighter color. This pen doesn't do that at all. I can write then immediately highlight and my highlighter tip is still clean and yellow. Kudos for this.********I am particular about how my pens write. I demand smooth, non-skip pens. I also prefer fine or extra-fine tips. This pen is smooth with clear and accurate writing. The experience is excellent beings metal and mechanism is smooth the the pen refill doesn't have any play. Making writing a joy. I own many many pens from a Bic, fisher, zerbre, aura, mont blanc. I enjoy the sharp clear writing without excess of ink and easy to write in detail with we easy control.

Barrel to skinny and needs a rounded shape near tip to get better grip. Get rid of the conical shape. That way u have more options to where you want to grip the pen.

I was looking for a nicer pen, and I settled on about half a dozen different ones to try. This one was actually the cheapest, but I ended up liking it the most. I like that it's pretty lightweight, very smooth, and easy to write with. The #1 aspect that made me prefer this over any others I tried was the ergonomic factor. I like that I can click it open or closed very quickly without needing to twist, remove caps, etc. Happy to stick with this brand/model for any pen needs going forward!
