It adds "bulkiness" to the stock but that's the whole point - it makes it very comfortable to shoot trap. My Remi 870 used to give me a punch in the face every shot and now with this pad I don't even notice the recoil against the face. try it. I like it....

Added this to my pcp air rifle's textured composite stock. Simple to install. Adhered well, even after relocating it a few times. Very comfortable to use against the cheek — beats hard plastic! Helps in achieving a consistent sight picture and repeatable accuracy.

Has made a great difference with my sporting clays, and is way way cheaper than a new shotgun with an adjustable cheek riser! Has the added benefit of providing a soft interface between cheek and stock that makes the recoil impulse negligible. A++

I'm not a fan of this pad. Yes, it sticks well, but as soon as the edges wear, or you get a wear spot on it, it gets sticky and sticks to everything: your clothes, your face, etc. I had to cut the end to fit my stock, and that was a truly bad idea. The edge rolled and stuck to everything. I switched back to a foam pad

I installed this gel-tell cheek pad on my over/under Beretta shotgun. I shoot trap and skeet weekly and my gun was extremely bruising my cheek. A friend told me to install this pad would make a great difference and it did, first time shooting. I went with the 3mm pad because I did not want to throw my line of sight out. I am very happy with the results. For the little of money it cost, it made a big difference in my shooting and comfort. Highly recommend this pad if your shotgun is slapping you cheek while shooting!!
