I gave it five stars because it arrived well it has not been used yet so I can’t really rate fully, but it didn’t leak during delivery, but it came well packaged with a sheath. The quality seems well. I bought it for my son who likes to go hiking in the mountains on the border of Washington in Idaho and he likes to hike by himself so he needed something. He said it seems like it would be easy to use. He understands how to use it. It was pretty well. Instructed it looks good. Hopefully he won’t need to use it, but he has it if needed.

Small enough to easily carry, hope it never gets used

Worth the money. A bit clunky to carry on your person but will positively subdue and relegate an attacker to a fetal position. Had unfortunate occasion to use this twice; both human. While there is a plethora of these items available on the market I would recommend this product. Spray stream is rather wide and reasonably far reaching (approximately 8 feet) before diffusing into thin air. Be sure you are ALWAYS downstream of direction of spray. Legal in most states, be sure to check if use of this product is legal in your home state.

Thankfully have never had to use, but glad to have it while hiking with the dogs. Case is nice.

Bought this as a protective measure when hiking but thankfully haven't had to use it yet. Comes with a holster which is a nice addition and looks easy to use. Has a cap that makes it hard to accidentally spray it. Definitely worth the purchase for any hikers in common bear areas.

This is the cheapest bear spray that you'll find that is ACTUALLY meant for bears. A lot of cheap "outdoor" sprays are actually just fancy/ripoff pepper spray, but bear spray needs to travel both wider and farther with a higher dose of capsaicin. Pretty handy that it comes with a holster too with a velcro cover.

Every hiker that treks through the forest should have this. Fortunately, I haven't had the need to use this yet, so I'm not sure how it works. I'll edit my review if for some reason it doesn't work. I do like that it has a spray guard to prevent accidental release. Fits right inside the side pocket of your pack. Seems like it would be easy to use when needed.

Wanted this since I love walking at night and our area has had recorded leopard sightings. So this will help in case of an emergency encounter with a leopard.
