bike racing at its best!
I loved reading this book. Makes me want to race, or at least jump on a Zwift race! Mark is an incredible cyclist and sprinter extraordinaire that inspires people to keep going. His love for the tour is palpable. Thanks Mark!

Great Story!
Very enjoyable. As a non cyclist I learnt alot about the sprinters role at the Tour de France. And of course Mark’s comeback from impossible odds makes for riveting reading.

Way to go Cav!
Mark Cavendish is the greatest sprinter of all time and he is not done yet.An interesting book about an interesting guy that everyone wrote off as done.A lot of what retires cyclists is not physical, but rather the fire goes out after suffering for so many years.Cav's story of getting the fire going again is amazing and it is not over yet.

Potty Mouth Big Head
Hundreds of gratuitous F this and F that. Does he talk to his kids and Mum like that? Needs a ghostwriter with more than a little restraint. His first books were much better written. I really like Mark as a cyclist, and admire his career. But his lack of humility comes through in this book. I guess world class athletes in all sports need the kind of bravado that he shows. But he doesn't come through as a very likeable person. This book is not his best effort.

Great book, super story about a cycling legend
Great book, super story about a cycling legend. An excellent addition to my collection of cycling books. I would also recommend the earlier two books which I have about Mark Cavendish: Boy Racer and Cavendish at speed.

not a literary classic, BUT......!
An awesome read. If you ever wanted to know what goes on in the mind of a Sprinter then this book is for you. Mark simply thinks differently to the rest of us and this is what makes him one of the greatest sportsmen ever. He pulled off one of the greatest sporting comebacks ever due to a mindset that is a rarity today. This book provides an insight as to how he did what he did whilst simultaneously acknowledging all those that helped him along the way. An amazing book about an amazing guy.

Brilliant book written from the heart
Brilliant book written from the heart - you can really hear Mark in these words, honest but thought through, and a captivating account of his Tour de France wins over the years.

Informative
Didn't have the same punch as some of the other books I have read on Cav. I was wanting more funny or lambasting anecdotes if am honest and was a bit short saying that,as a personal historical document it covers all the basics.

An emotional journey
This is up there as one of the best cycling books that I've read. A passionate tale from a passionate man. Brilliant!
