I bought it after I dyed my hair lighter and was looking to prevent brassy tones but also to hydrate and protect my hair. I'm not sure about the color protection because I'm using violet shampoo and conditioner too, but I dont feel it leaves my hair any better texture wise. I was looking for a mask for more hydration than just conditioner, but saw no softening benefits, I feel my hair more tangled and harder to comb than with other drugstores masks. I wish I had bought the smaller one. I has a pleasant smell, so I will continue using it for the color effect but will need a better mask.

4 stars because it says that it smoothes and softens - that’s not true. Hair was dry after it. But it neutralizes yellow good, so I use this one only for that purpose!

I'm not happy at all with this blonde neutralizing mask. I have highlights, and even when I used this mask several times over a couple of weeks, I didn't see it working the way it should, neutralizing those yellowish colors. It smells good but does not work, at least for me.

I like the smell of this and I did amazing things to the color and texture of my hair. It was a little difficult to rinse out the first time I used it though.
