The media could not be loaded. This is exactly what I was looking for! I needed a hip scarf for my Dances of the Middle East & India class here at school. My professor suggested a Raqs Sharqi style costume shop she knew of, but unfortunately I found their $15 price for a thin hip scarf with only 1 row of coins a bit to high for a beginner such as myself (beautiful selection and quality yes, but I wasn't quite ready to pay $40-$45 for a hip scarf I would be using for fun). I took a look on Amazon and chose this scarf, they have a great selection of colors and their reviews were also very good. The coins were the part i was most worried about I was scared they might be a thin and bendy metal but they are not! The coins are a thin metal but not bendy, actually they are much studier than I expected and they make a lovely jingling sound (not TOO loud), the fabric material is somewhat sheer but the color is visible. The silver beads ARE plastic but it's not noticeable that they are made of that, plus they keep the whole skirt fairly light weight, very easy to move in and to keep your fluidity. As for sizing I am usually a size Medium so this fits me perfectly with a good amount of leftover fabric to tie, I would even say this is a good size for a size Large. If you are looking for a hip scarf I would DEFINITELY recommend this one. (I've included some images to display the sheerness, and the quality and a video so you can hear the coins sound!)

This is a well-made garment. Has a very nice sound when your hips are popping. It is much better quality than I anticipated. It’s fine for me as a brand new beginner

It's only $10.00, so it's not going to be super amazing, but I love to bellydance with a few instructors on You Tube and it helps to have a scarf on while doing the dances. I love the purple color and the silver coins - none have fallen off yet, so we'll see how long it holds up, but so far, so good!

Nice little jingle, not too heavy, lovely turquoise color. There isn't anything I don't like about this item.

Super prompt shipping - it arrived a day early, just in time for dance class! I'm a U.S. size 8, and it wraps my hips pretty perfectly, with plenty of length left over to tie. The coins don't make a tinkle or jangle noise like some others, it's a really lovely sort of swishing sound that's very easy on the ears, and doesn't drown out the music or instructor! The coins are *very* thin discs of stamped metal, so that's why they swish instead of jangle. The color is a gorgeous deep plum, just like the picture. It's well constructed, but still delicate (don't go tugging on things, it's going to come apart like any type of thin fabric or lace would when yanked on) and light. It stayed tied during class, and didn't slide down my hips while moving or shimmying. *Fantastic* value for the price, you won't be sorry!

Obviously really cheaply made and had a strong nasty smell at first, had to air it out a couple of days which was weird. But it did what I wanted it to

Beautiful but it is the exact same measurements as others I have ordered. I ordered this one because it claims to be 66inches which would allow more coverage and tie room however it arrived and the decorated part is 31 inches, total length just over 51 inches which is a significant difference from the 66inch it’s supposed to be.
