just what we wanted under the porch like it.

Does the job.
Bought to replace a unit where the voltage converter had failed. The mounting of the unit itself was plain sailing. It needs a screwdriver to fit the unit and a sharp blade to cut a cross in the seal where the wire comes in. A drill is also required to make holes in the rear of the unit to pass the two mounting screws through. The wiring is obvious and the is a clamp to take the ends of the live and neutral. There is no Earth connection.Fitting the cover is a bit more of a fiddle. The translucent cover does not attach to the base unit but is only held in place by the outer cover. Getting the screws to line up with the holes in the base needs care and the white part will take any chance to escape. Fortunately, it bounces.
