Amazing book
This book was freaking amazing. You really wouldn’t know how good this series is based off the cover or name alone. I love how intense the build up was the entire book. Their first night together. Wow it was so satisfying and romantic. I also loved the nickname Nevermore and her character. It’s not often I like a main female character so much. But a was so likable and the poetry was such a great touch. Lincoln started out a grump but was so gentle and sweet eventually. The breakup was hard but it all comes together at the end and makes sense.

Really Good Contemporary Slow-Burn Romance!
Rating:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5Spice: 🔥🔥🔥🔥/5Build-up: 5/5Tropes: #fakeengagement #enemiestolovers #workplaceromanceJust finished this book and it was so good! By far one of the best contemporary romances I’ve read in a while.I appreciate how the story takes time and because of the time the relationship is pure 🔥 by the time they start getting together. I really liked how things didn’t just happen immediately, as in it took time for them to become what they ended with. I lately it seems like every contemporary romance I read they make up so easily in the end. But with this book it took time for them to get to the point that they were able to get together again (About a month so not a super long period.) Forgiveness takes time and this book showed it because even after they were together again it still took time before she knew he wasn’t going to go anywhere ever again. The characters, Lincoln and Dakota, grew so much over the course of this book. They both had struggles they’ve been through and that’s why being together scared them at times. Dakota is such a sassy character and I love her! Lincoln had to grow on me before I liked him at first he was a bit of a jerk. But once you see his heart that he’s buried he’s a hard one not to love! One thing I have to say! I love the fact cinnamon rolls played such a huge part throughout this book! Made my baker heart happy!I enjoyed this book a lot and plan to check out more books by Nicole Snow!

Great book
The banter between the characters was amazing. Made me feel like I wasn't the only sparky lovable person left 😉. Great book and a wonderful sweet side to Shrek, lol. Good read.

Wayyyyyyyy too long. Too much bickering to be enjoyable, and found both of the main characters to be annoying. Or than anything the bird was just way too long and drug out. I don’t think they even share their first kiss until 3/4 of the way through the book even zooming ahead to the epilogue didn’t help.I normally really like this author, but this book did not do it for me

not the worst
So the biggest Pro I can give for this book, and why it is a 3.5 not a 3 is due to its feasibility. This author’s books can have some of the most ridiculous, outlandish plots I’ve ever read. I couldn’t even continue with her Heart’s Edge series, it was so absurd. And sometimes I just go with it and let the crazy wash over me. (For some reason, I’ve read all the Dallas, North Dakota books, so I guess I’m a glutton for punishment). I feel like she’s trying to see how insane she can get away with making her plot lines. That being said, this plot line has some marginal believability, hence the higher rating. The biggest negatives are the length (Way too long) And her dialogue (So juvenile). For a “brilliant writer” Dakota argues like a stubborn 12 year old. And her poetry? Blech. Their “banter” was so repetitive and puerile, I had to skim it. A good editor should slash a lot of that dialogue or demand a rewrite. It was the same issue in the book with the chauffeur FMC and the architect MMC, so it’s clearly this author’s thing to write immature, childish circular arguments between love interests and try to play it off like sexy banter.I finished this book, and I’ve read quite a few of her books. Despite the fact that I just trashed this one, I’m sure I’ll read the next one that comes out, so there must be some redeeming qualities.

Sweet and hilarious
I can't believe how much this book made me sigh out loud. Dakota is quirky. Lincoln is a grumpy bear. Together they are perfect.

Lincoln and Dakota Making It to Their Evermore ❤❤🔥❤❤
I'm a huge fan of Nicole Snow's growely men and the spunky women who somewhat tame them but I have to say Lincoln and Dakota are my new favorites!! I also love that Hearts Edge and Dallas characters have merged to Seattle with Sweeter Grinds, Regis Rolls and of course memories. This story starts with Lincoln pretty much having a melt down because Dakota got the last Regis Roll, a cinnamon gooeyness so good it'll give you a mouthgasam. Insults fly, names called and apparently money is no issue and neither back down. Hot Shrek has his reason for needing that cinnamon goodness but that would open other wounds he fights in a daily basis. What happens when that platinum blond with the dazzling green eyes and has a body made for sin shows up for a job interview at Lincoln's clothing company...Let the fun begin. From enemies over a cinnamon roll to employer/employee having secret fantasies to fake engaged to promote the wedding line... the names and banter doesn't stop and goes from insulting to terms of endearment. Both have issues with trust and marriage that keeps them from exploring what could be. It might take Lincoln's best friend and fellow ex Marine, Wyatt, to make him see the hard truth...or his widowed mother... If it's not too late. Can Captain Douchenozel piece his Raven's heart back together after he shattered it?? I highly recommend this MUST READ!!!! A story filled with all the feels, his/her POV, no cheating, no cliffhanger, real to life characters, real to life situations and a much deserved HEA. Absolutely LOVED Lincoln and Dakota and their secondary characters. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book and happily purchased a copy for my favorites collection. I'm soooooo looking forward for the next story from Nicole Snow!!

Hot and spicy
Kept me glued to the book, even ignored a couple of TV shows to keep reading. Oh how I wish I had a Lincoln in my past years. It does get the juices flowing and for that I'm grateful. The story is fun, frustrating, gets you ticked off, then happy again. A writers talent for certain.Thank you.

Great read
I really enjoyed this story, loved the characters and storyline, this author really brought them to life and I was hooked at every page. It was quite a long story and I was eager to get to the end but I enjoyed it all the way through and of course the HEA was not disappointing in any way.

Best of vi keeland
I have read almost all the books of the author and it's safe to say she is a heart winner. This book in particular has all my love, it's a book I wanted to go back to every night and it felt real bad when it ended. Need more books like this❤️

Hilarious love story - 5/5⭐️
I LOVED this book, thoroughly! 📚❤️🔥The perfect amount of comedy, love (& 🌶️) and comfort from each character in a perfectly well written book!A book with a lot of hilarious encounters leading up to the perfect love story. I honestly liked everything about Dakota and Lincoln, from the way they bantered back and forth right up to how whole heartedly they loved one and other.I loved Lincoln’s friendship with Wyatt and watching how they navigated the hardships from their past and present but mostly how they showed their brotherly love for each other. This was my very first book from Nicole Snow and it will definitely not be my last. I do however hope that just maybe a book will come out for Wyatt and Meadow BUT I’m happy to leave their story here if need be. Definitely recommend this book!K. 🌻
