Rear view mirror for my Sequoia 2007, works very well when hanged on the Rearview mirror

The joints that hold the arm in position have worn out pretty quickly- it moves frequently in traffic now and most of the time won’t hold phone upright where I can see it when I driving. I’m constantly having to fix it when I go around a curve or hit a bump on the interstate. I’m going to try to fix it but if I can’t glue the joints in place I’m going to have to replace it. I’ve had it around 3 months.

This item is not very sturdy at all. I feel like it not made for all rear view mirrors. Wish I had the box so I can send it back pronto!!. Will not order again

I was so hoping that this would fix my phone holder dilemma in my 2021 Ford Mustang GT. There just isn't any great place to put a phone holder without potentially damaging the interior. This was going to be my answer. After playing around with the holder to understand how it works, I was ready to install it. The versatility pre-install was amazing, seemingly infinitely configurable. However, reality set in upon my attempt to install it. The issue is that width of the clamp (good for support) was too wide to fit between the rear-view mirror and the cowling for the cameras. When I did get it attached, I was no longer able to adjust the rear-view mirror to see anything other than the back seat :( I tried clamping it to the gear shift and parking brake, but both proved to be too clumsy to use even if I was successful in attachment (successful for the gear shift, unsuccessful for the parking brake). I ended up adding it to my arsenal for use in my other vehicles. It is a wonderful design; it just doesn't work with my vehicle.

Very easy install and it fits my phone with a bulky case on it so it's perfect

I liked that it hangs on the back of the mirror, the arm. The last one I had, had 3 clamps that grabbed in the mirror, but the 3 clamp was obstructed by the bottom mirror lever, and the holder would fall off. So I thought I'd try something a little different. However, I don't like that it's a a struggle to put the phone in the holder. And I wish it was telescopic. It feels a little off the cheaper end. I probably will return it.

It starts folding down over the slightest bump

Se coloca en el espejo retrovisor pero aunque se apriete el tornillo al máximo, en estas calles bacheadas de esta ciudad se mueve mucho. Estorba la visibilidad al conducir. Lo regrese a las 4 horas de uso. Evítenlo.
