Perfect for our needs
The size is perfect for our needs. Small enough to not take up too much room but large enough to last. It's easy to transport with the included carry case. Very well made and I'm sure it will last us for a very long time. Way easier than the small 1 lb gas bottles and less waste. It's an investment!

A move to cut down on waste
I bought this to replace the green cans we end up buying every year when we go camping. At first I thought whoah the greenies are so cheap, why do I need this. Then I went to get it filled....it was $5.25!!!! My biggest issue with the green cans is the WASTE. They aren't recyclable and how many times do we trash a 1/3 left because you know you're going to run out while grilling? We carry five cans on average so replacing five with 1 is really helpful when camping. The carrier is heavy duty and attractive!

Perfect size Tank
After reading the reviews, I was skeptical ordering this. I’m so glad I took my chances. This tank in case is awesome. I camp alone and I don’t need a big 20 pound tank to lug around. I use it for my stove in my Teardrop camper, and I can also use it for my gas fire pit. I love the small 1 pound disposable tanks, I generally drop them off in the area I live to be recycled but at campgrounds I see so many of these in the garbage. It’s just a nice size portable tank that’s lightweight and easy to use. The tank fits snug in the case for added protection. I had this in my cart on Amazon for a while, hesitating because of the negative reviews when the price dropped $25 I decided to order it! It cost me $6 to fill it, and the guy who filled it was very curious where I got it as he wanted one also. So far I would give this tank 10 stars if I could!

JULY 2024 Eco-Friendly Ignik Refillable Gas Growler Deluxe - Defective Tank, Difficult Returns!
UPDATED REVIEW July 17, 2024I contacted the manufacturers customer service. (customerservice @ignik.com) and they replied in less than 14 hours. They were INCREDIBLY understanding, professional & apologetic. They provided the following options:*****Immediate Refund: We can process a full refund for the tank (upon proof of purchase).Expert Assistance: These small propane tanks have a more sensitive safety shutoff valve than larger (20 lb+) tanks, which can be triggered and become stuck during filling. Once the safety device is triggered, the tank cannot be filled until pressure is relieved from the cylinder and the safety device is reset. Propane suppliers, such as Suburban Propane, AmeriGas, and Ferrellgas, should know how to fill these tanks correctly and relieve the excess pressure if the safety device is triggered.Valve Replacement: Given your experience, we would be more than happy to reimburse you for an OPD valve replacement should you decide to do that locally (just require a snapshot of the receipt)Tank Replacement: We would happily provide you with a warranty tank replacement (upon proof of purchase) and some first-fill instructions to share with your local filling attendant.*******I chose to visit my local Ferrellgas & they were able to purge the tank & fill with propane. After everything I’d been through I was slightly shocked it was this easy.I have updated my review to 5 stars because I absolutely love this tank 🩷*********Original review written July 16, 2024I was excited to ditch the disposable propane canisters and be more eco-friendly with the Ignik Refillable Gas Growler Deluxe. Imagine my disappointment when I tried to get it filled for the first time and was told the tank/valve was defective! My camping trip was impacted, and now I'm stuck dealing with a return.Ignik doesn't accept returns through Amazon, which is where I bought it. So, I'm forced to navigate their website, which could be more user-friendly, to try and get a refund or exchange. This whole ordeal is a colossal waste of time and money.Update to come: I'll be sure to add how easy (or difficult) it is to get ahold of Ignik's customer service and resolve this. Stay tuned to see if this Ignik dud turns into a fiery nightmare!

Goodbye ya little green demons.
This thing has helped me banish the little green demons back into the darkness. I no longer find them hiding in storage closets, the back of my SUV, tucked away in my camp kitchen crate, or sneaking around behind my tent. Yes, I'm talking about those little green 1 lb tanks that are single-use and seem to collect in small armies during camping season. This thing costs less to fill than just ONE of those tanks, and is equal to 5 of those suckers. It might cost a chunk to buy this at the start, but you will save SO much money. Yeah, it takes up more space, so that should be accounted for, but this thing has gotten me through multiple weekend trips on one fill. Worth it.

Cheap quality and a premium price
Really like the size and convenience of this tank. Did not like that I was only able to use half of the first tank of propane before the valve stuck making the tank completely useless. Edit I have been in contact with company and they sent me out a free replacment so I changed the raring to 4 starts
